Trust Relationship Officers focus on serving the trust and fiduciary needs of affluent clients, as a single point of contact and will be responsible for interfacing with the client as required by the fiduciary relationship assigned. The role will have responsibilities including both ongoing administration/investment and deepening of existing relationships with the following primary objectives: Enhance the client experience by building and maintaining strong client relationships, deepening their relationships across a spectrum of needs and assist in development or referral of client solutions as needed by the client. The Trust Relationship Officer role will be service focused with requisite sales goals, primarily focused on cross penetration. The TRO will leverage support teams on client servicing needs while being the primary point of contact to the client. This role will have higher gearing (approximately 300-350 core client accounts).
CTFA, CFP or in process of obtaining one of these professional designations
3-5 years or equivalent work experience with proven success in personal trust sales role REQUIRED.
Solid understanding of Trust Product capabilities and enthusiastic about opportunities to serve the Trust needs of clients
Excellent communication and written skills
Demonstrated ability to communicate complex issues in a clear, understandable manner
Demonstrated accuracy and completeness in all tasks, and follows up as appropriate.
Excellent organizational, prioritization and time management skills, detailed oriented, with good follow-up skills
Able to develop trust, rapport and respect with clients and team members
Develop strong interpersonal alliance and fosters collaboration among team members and business partners and supports enterprise view to support GWIM objectives.
Computer literate with preferred capabilities to run sophisticated trust and estate software for prospect/client consulting and preparing presentation tools for prospect/client meetings.
