At EITC, we are currently looking for experienced IT professionals to join our IPA COE team for SOA Development Projects with core skills of SOA 12c/11g, BPEL and OSB.

This position primarily requires a SOA developer to design, develop and provide warranty support on new/existing projects. Some of the attributes are as below:

A. Understand requirements, develop appropriate documents and other related activities

B. Prepare technical design/document and perform development

C. Participate in meetings and facilitate discussion that leads to meaningful dialogue

D. Provide additional support to on-going projects

E. Follow the standard processes and guidelines

ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS

A.

Requirements Definition:

Actively participates and understand business requirements.

B.

Analysis & Solution Design:

Identifies and raises issues and problems in a constructive manner. Involves and informs others, as appropriate in identifying issues, problems, opportunities, and developing solutions. Identifies multiple alternatives for each business need. Develops innovative approaches to problems that achieved desired outcome. Documents risk, impact, and benefits for business team. Makes recommendation for best solution. Creates technical designs based on documented requirements. Updates requirements, based on discovery during design. Conducts reviews of designs/resolutions with business team and peers. Uses appropriate design tools and methodologies. Develops and maintains best practices and standards for design documents.

C.

Testing & Implementation:

Collaborates with business to create test plans and data for various testing scenarios. Documents and communicates test results. Coordinates testing process for others on team. Obtains sign-off from the business team. Creates implementation plans, including production promotion, verification, turn over, training, back-out and contingency plans. Understands and complies with all Sarbanes-Oxley policies and procedures.

D.

Service Delivery:

Analyzes designs and develops patterns to better develop and structure the code. Implements design patterns for enhanced performance and deploy applications in existing environments. Establishes, Maintains and follows best coding industry practices and provides robust solutions with defect free installs. Breaks down complex problems into manageable components to better understand existing applications. Is proactive about analyzing existing code. Identifies opportunities for enhanced performance in our existing environments.

E.

Customer Service:

Teams with customer to assess concerns and requirements. Anticipates customer needs and is proactive in providing service. Demonstrates a high level of business understanding. Able to effectively communicate technical concepts to non-IT personnel.

F.

Project Management:

Manages small projects, using basic project management techniques. Documents project plan in terms of work breakdown structure, effort, and schedule. Documents and manages scope. Records actual effort vs. scheduled effort and reports on variances. Utilizes variance information to improve estimating/planning processes. Effectively communicates facts, ideas, opinions, or concerns with project team and stakeholders.

Qualifications

Must Have Skills –

· Oracle SOA Suite 12c/11g

· Oracle Service Bus 12c/11g

· AIA Foundation Pack

· JMS Queues/Advanced Queues

· JCA Adapters (DB, File, FTP, JMS, etc)

· Web Services – XML, XSD, WSDL, XSL, XPath, XQuery, JSON, SOAP, REST, HTTP web-services

· 4 Year college degree with 3-6 years of experience

· Demonstrated implementation experience using Oracle's SOA/BPEL Middleware technology

· Strong communication skills (written and verbal) and team player

Preferred Skills –

· Oracle SOA Suite 12c/11g

· Experience with SOA Governance processes

· Oracle BAM

· BPEL Process Manager

· Knowledge of OWSM, OER

· Good experience with relational databases (preferably Oracle) and basic SQL development

· Used at least one Source control system(CVS, Clearcase, SVN, etc)

· Experience with developing deployment scripts or use of any deployment tools (Kintana or Jenkins)

Nice-To-Have Skills –

· Design Patterns

· Business process mapping skills

· OCP Certification (optional)

· Oracle 12c/11g certification (optional)

Educational Qualification –

4 Years engineering degree or equivalent
