Role Description: Delivery Manager (Transformation and Small/Medium program)

This position is responsible for delivering medium to large Payments Transformation programs, by understanding Customer's business priorities and translating the solution bluprint into a detailed implementation plan adhering to the budgeted cost & timelines. He/ She is responsible for setting up and managing the execution team, establishing a governance model with internal and external stakeholders, mitigating risks and managing challenging situations to deliver positive outcomes.

Capabilities

  1. 15-18 years of total experience with atleast 5-8 years in delivering Global, multi-year transformation programs in the Payments domain for Tier 1 banks

  2. Demonstrates rich experience in collaborating with Business stakeholders, external Product partners, technology providers to deliver a common outcome

  3. The ideal candidate will be an excellent leader and will have experience in managing staff of different disciplines to produce results in a timely manner. They will also be able to develop efficient strategies and tactics

  4. Excellent Knowledge of performance evaluation and change management principles. He/She should have the necessary written & verbal skills to effectively interact and communicate with both internal, external stake holders and customers.

  5. PMP Certified Bachelors or Masters in Engineering, Computer Science or relevant industry experience preferred.

Detailed Description and Job Requirements

This manager-level position is responsible for a segment within a given practice focused on a specific industry, service line, technology center, specialty area or region. Responsible for managing the three main pillars of a practice: people management, portfolio/delivery management and sales enablement. Has profit and loss responsibility or financial/expense management of practice.

Accountable for operational/financial metrics and overall business results of practice. Responsible for maintaining practice direction, ensuring quality of consulting delivery, and maintaining customer referenceability. Ensures that operational policies are followed and that business objectives are achieved by focusing on best practices and process improvements. Develops plans to successfully implement operational policies and achieves business plan. Is accountable for managing and growing a revenue stream and customer base. Typically manages individual contributors. May serve as advisor for moderately complex engagements.

8 years of experience relevant to this position including 4 years of consulting experience and 2 years of project management leadership experience. Undergraduate degree or equivalent experience. Can lead, engage, mobilize and motivate multiple teams to accomplish goals. Product, technology or industry expertise relevant to the practice focus. Ability to travel as needed.
