Hasbro Global Supply Planner in Pune, India

Purpose of Role

  • This role will be a key part of the Global Supply Planning team where he/she will work closely with our external partner vendors and internal stakeholders to manage the supply of products to global markets.

Key Responsibilities

+ + To work with engineering & Project Management on MOQ and lead time issues when products are in development stage.

  • To monitor sales forecast changes to ensure demand requirement are met.

  • To plan & control item schedules and proactively communicate if current capacity is at risk

  • To manage allocation of production capacity. 

  • Material Management

  • Co-ordinate Global Planning and Market MA releases

  • Manage material authorizations with respect to MOQ & lead-time issues 

  • Order Processing and Data Maintenance

  • Order confirmation release

  • Ensure orders are released on time to keep production continuity & match forecast requirement.

Years of Experience Required

  • 3 - 6 years of work experience in production and material planning, ideally in toy and entertainment industry, is preferable.

Technical Skills Requirement

+ + Degree or above

  • Knowledge of inventory control and shipping would be an advantage

  • Good PC knowledge

  • Excellent command of English skills

Soft Skills Requirements

  • He/she will be an important part of driving the success of the team’s daily operation

  • Occasionally, he/she will be required to make operational decisions to ensure daily operation is efficient and effective

  • Fast learner with a passion for continuous learning and expanding his/her technical skills is essential

  • Strong teamwork capability, be able to cooperate with colleagues from different background, department and levels

  • Showing potential or ideally some relevant experience in coaching others, e.g. leading best practice, acting as escalation point, sharing experience and information

  • Respects the process and company’s practices while not afraid to challenge the status quo

  • Showing potential or ideally some relevant experience in leading and managing a project

  • Able to work independently and under pressure
