The ADQS CoE is responsible for the development and support of the financial application used within Eaton. In addition we partner in design and guidance for implementation of Finance applications at Eaton

  • Assume primary responsibilities for designing solutions for assigned development and integration projects

  • Create functional/technical design for deliverables assigned for the project

  • Collaborate with developers, business analysts and business customers across functional areas to identify and design solutions

  • Work with Enterprise Architects and other solution designers to identify and implement best practices in solution designing

  • Participate with project team in design, documentation, development, production rollout and support

  • Provide technical consultation in new systems integration, new package evaluations, and linking of existing systems; participate in structured walkthroughs and technical reviews

• Identify process improvement areas and develop future business process flows

  • Assist in defining the UAT scenarios for complex technical deliverables

  • Review technical design and solutions provided by other solution designers and developers

  • Provides estimates for effort and schedule for assigned tasks/development change requests

  • Ensures quality of delivery in accordance with the plan adhering to the standard practices and guidelines

  • Works across all HFM modules as needed.

  • Ensures sign-off on all major system deliverables by stakeholders

  • Engages in development, design and testing and documentation of components.

  • Performs peer review of deliverables. Makes recommendations to team.

  • Works independently and or with team members

  • Suggests and builds re-usable components and looks for continuous improvement opportunities.

  • Works collaboratively with other team members to achieve team and organization goals.

  • Develops an understanding of both technology and business concepts and is able to articulate business processes.

  • Consults with customers and IT managers to develop, define, and prioritize work assignments and work delivery

  • Will deliver on requests for development of various components using Oracle development technologies in HFM.

  • Will continually learn new advanced development technologies and programming techniques to provide value to our team and business by enhancing self-knowledge and capability.

  • Will provide excellent quality code as well as excellent documentation including unit test scripts and results. Will maintain zero impact through regression testing in the global environment

  • Will mentor, train and guide other members on the support team

  • Will communicate and mentor the team on global development processes and procedures and ensure that they are adhered to

  • Ability to use and update knowledge repository

  • Will maintain a global mindset to ensure that the development/fixes will have no impact on global functionality.

  • Participate in application upgrades by testing and documenting functionality in conjunction with Functional analysts.

  • Stays current with Technology trends in Information Technology advancements

  • Leads continuous improvements on in-scope support initiatives.

  • Will manage incidents/requests and changes by troubleshooting and bug-fixing/development of various components using Oracle development technologies.

  • Will trouble-shoot and provide expertise as a Production support specialist.

  • Will deliver incident, request and change within EATON specified SLAs and updates to stakeholders in timely manner

  • Will provide production support as needed to address custom and standard development issues

  • Participate in improvements to applications and processes in order to decrease incidents and maintain quality. (Demonstrates Incident and Problem Management Expertise)

  • Proven competency in communication, presentation, training, documentation and support

  • Proficient in estimating and scheduling tasks for self

  • Ability to communicate directly with the users, verbal and written

Qualifications

Basic Qualifications (Including Educational Requirements)

  • Bachelor’s degree in a technical discipline; related to systems and computer technology and minimum 3+ years of IT experience.

  • MCA/BCA with relevant experience in Oracle HFM

  • Total Experience : 10 - 12 years in Oracle HFM technical expertise (RICE,PL/SQl)

  • Must have 8+ years of experience in Oracle HFM 11.1.2.4

Level of Analysis, Customer Focus and Business Acumen

  • Must have extensive knowledge of requirement analysis for providing technical solutions

  • Must have end-to-end implementation experience and led engagements in Hyperion Planning, consolidations

  • Must have language proficiency in English.

  • Ability to take direction and work independently

  • Ability to interact professionally with stakeholders at all levels in the organization including senior finance leaders and solution architects

Level of System and IT Knowledge

  • Must have knowledge/understanding of the following areas

  • Highly desired - Expertize in Oracle Workflow, OA Framework and other APPS specific technologies.

  • Knowledge of Oracle Apps R12 Functionalities and Integration in one or more of the following Oracle applications or modules: Financials AR, AP, GL, FA, PA, Oracle Financial experience more than 8 Years.
