This opportunity is for an individual with both SAP eCommerce experience in the service industry most preferably in the public sector. The successful candidate must have a high level of French language proficiency (written and oral). As an IBM hybris Architect/Managing Consultant you will lead team members and projects. The Architect/Managing Consultant works as a consulting team member or an individual technical consultant on product implementation, design specification, architecture enhancement, integration, or audit/review projects. Project complexity may vary from fairly straight forward to moderately complex, with single or multiple products and involve multiple environments (web, application, database servers).Work efforts focus primarily on producing and managing the delivery technical architecture, designs, development and deployment services on engagements ranging from short-term IBM consulting to full life-cycle implementation projects.
Responsibilities for the position include:
Expert on hybris technologies from formal training classes and hands on customer project work.
Architecture, code reviews, and developer support using Java/JSP under the structure of hybris and IBM Best Practices.
Mentor others, review others work, own the technical delivery of hybris projects.
Analyzes customers' business requirements and software/product objectives; develops an application design and architecture to meet customers' needs.
Serve as a technical expert and problem solver to clients to assist them in optimizing their use of the hybris product suite to define, build and deploy online e-Commerce (B2B,B2C) applications.
Estimate time frames, quality and quantity of effort required to successfully implement the project.
Establish criteria/estimates concerning deliverability, performance, maintenance, design and costs.
Lead hybris project teams in the design, development and deployment of custom hybris e-commerce and content management solutions.
Conduct periodic status checks with customers and team to assess progress against plan. Performs re-forecasts of project variables as necessary throughout project.
Contribute to the growth of IBM’s business through the creation and sharing of knowledge and best practices based on engagement experiences.
Prepare status reports on project activities.
Required Technical and Professional Expertise
Bachelor degree (preferred) in Computer Science, Computer Mathematics, Software Engineering or a related discipline.
Track record of architecture and team leadership via Project successes
Minimum of 10+ years of experience in Software design,
Systems integration, architecture and software development or consulting.
Experience in JAVA and Spring is required.
Experience with J2EE and Multi-Tier Internet Architecture is required.
Experience with hybris or in the e-Commerce industry is required
Knowledge of SQL Relational Database Management Systems (DBMS), HTTP, HTML and XML is required.
Ability to perform gap analysis by reviewing current and future technical landscapes
Integration experience with back-end ERP systems, such as SAP and Oracle
Must be bilingual French/English
