Oracle Senior Manager | Utilities Global Business Unit Presales Operations in Quincy, Massachusetts

Provides direction and specialist knowledge in applying the technology/application to client business. Facilitation of customer product/application understanding through presentations demonstrations and benchmarks; provision of support throughout the sales cycle.

As part of the Oracle sales team you will direct and manage pre-sales resources throughout the sales cycle. Provides technical/functional leadership to the sales team in the development and implementation of customer applications and customer products. Participates in account planning and strategy development. May publishes technical information of specific applications and/or technical articles. Works with management to define new products. Serves as the company liaison on specific technical projects with customers.

Manages and controls activities in multi-functional areas of sections. Ensures appropriate operational planning is effectively executed to meet Corporate business needs. Knowledge of software industry relating to all aspects of ebusiness solutions. Demonstrated leadership skills. Strong presentation skills. Ability to travel as needed. BA/BS degree or equivalent.

Senior Manager, Presales Operations

Responsibilities

As a Senior Presales Operations Manager within Oracle s Utilities Global Business Unit (UGBU), you will lead a team of global technical and functional specialist that manage and prepare environments for sales presentations, training, POCs, and marketing events.

Your team will be responsible for working with sales, presales, and product development to manage and configure systems and applications that are used for demonstration and training purposes.

Specific tasks include.

Directly manage a team of presales resources.

Work closely with sales, presales, and product development.

Actively participate in and as required, lead the solution development on select strategic presentations.

Identify, prioritize and implement continuous improvement ideas with solicited input from management and other stakeholders.

Collect and disseminate feedback on Oracle presentations working with sales on win/loss calls.

Actively collaborate with the content messaging team to drive improvements across all solution dimensions.

Your preferred background.

Preferred 5 years of experience in Enterprise Software Application

Pre-Sales background in revenue influencing role - customer facing, preferably in Utilities / Energy Industry

At least 2 years of direct people management experience

Experience working for, or selling to, utilities a major plus

Bachelor s degree or 5 years highly relevant work experience
