Oracle Consulting Project Director in Raleigh, North Carolina
This director position is responsible for managing business operations and resources of a given practice that can be defined by industry, service line, technology center, specialty area or region. Responsible for managing the three main pillars of a practice: people management, portfolio/delivery management and sales enablement. Has profit and loss responsibility or financial/expense management of practice.
Accountable for operational/financial metrics and overall business results of practice. Responsible for maintaining strategic direction, ensuring profitable growth of the practice, quality of consulting delivery, and maintaining customer referenceability. Develops strategy and plans to successfully implement operational policies and achieve business objectives. Accountable for managing and growing a significant revenue stream and customer base. Typically manages multiple first line managers and/or senior level individual contributors. Resolves staffing issue in complex engagements. May serve as advisor or project sponsor role for moderately complex engagements.
10 years of experience relevant to this position including 5 years of consulting experience and 2 years of project management leadership experience. Direct line Management experience including project, people, customer, financial management preferred. Product, technology or industry expertise relevant to the practice focus. Ability to develop and maintain relationships at the executive level. Undergraduate degree or equivalent experience. Ability to travel as needed.

Oracle Cloud Consulting Project Director - Oracle Cloud ERP Project Management
Oracle is looking for an experienced Consulting Project Director to join the North America Applications Consulting ERP Consulting practice.
The Oracle Cloud Consulting Project Director is one of the roles in Oracle responsible for evangelizing and delivering ERP Cloud Implementation projects for Oracle's North America Applications Consulting Services organization.
This is a key role within the OC organization responsible for managing and delivering Oracle Cloud implementation projects on time and on budget.
We are searching for an experienced consulting project implementation professional who has a broad understanding of Oracle ERP applications and related technology, experience with implementation methodologies, project estimating, client communications, sales support, and a track record of successful project delivery.
The successful candidate will provide direct management and oversight to projects within the Oracle Cloud applications portfolio and will focus on ensuring customer satisfaction and supporting client project objectives.
Primary responsibilities include:
Project initiation activities, including sales support through project mobilization
Support for project estimating and proposals
Project planning and management
Scope and change request management
Risk and issue management
Client and stakeholder communication
Project status reporting
Budget management, revenue forecasting, and resource management
Internal communication and coordination
Coaching/mentoring project team members
On time/on budget project delivery and project profitability
Customer satisfaction and referenceability
EXPERIENCE AND QUALIFICATIONS
This role requires an experienced professional with varied career experiences including at least 10 years of experience relevant to this position (e.g. Project Management and implementation experience).
The successful candidate will have experience with ERP applications and be able to demonstrate the ability to successfully lead complex projects while working effectively with client management, client business users, and IT organizations. Experience with Cloud technology and applications is preferred. Undergraduate degree or equivalent experience.
