We are currently seeking a Workday Payroll Consultant in our Post Production Services (PPS) organization for our Workday practice. Our PPS organization helps clients maximize value from their Workday investment by providing the deep domain expertise necessary to stabilize, enhance, and expand their Workday footprint. Sr. Payroll Consultants will be responsible for supporting the successful implementation of the Workday Payroll solution while providing product and implementation expertise. In this role, you will work with project teams to understand business requirements and help configure and test the end to end solution for the client in the post production environment.
Conduct working sessions with clients to gather, understand, and analyze business requirements
Provide subject matter expertise on key business process decisions related to Payroll processing (i.e., deductions, calculations, compliance, garnishments, taxes, etc.)
Advise clients on industry standards for payroll set up in order to provide suggestions to achieve clean configuration and streamlined processes
Design and implement requirements in the Workday HCM Payroll solution
Devise creative solutions for events not captured by standard the Workday set up
Demonstrate the configurations through the development of prototype systems
Work with the client to help convert legacy data into Workday
Work closely with Integrations team to provide guidance for solutions and develop test scenarios
Assist the client in testing the Workday solution
Understand Workday’s Implementation Methodology and use it on all engagements
Work with the Delivery Assurance team to ensure compliance with agreed to checkpoints
Provide the Engagement Manager with status reports and keep them apprised of overall project status
Ensure the client takes advantage of Workday best practices
Identify opportunities to position additional service offerings to clients
Participate in update training and other events that help share one’s product skills with other consultants

In this dynamic role, you will have the opportunity to interact directly with clients. As such, travel to client sites may be required up to 50% or 2 days per week. Preferred candidates will live within a 50 mile radius of a major airport.

Required Technical and Professional Expertise
At least 2 years of Workday Payroll implementation experience as a lead Payroll consultant
At least 4 years of experience in Human Capital Management, Payroll Administration, Payroll programs, and Payroll business processes
At least 4 years of experience deploying HCM SaaS software solutions (i.e., Workday, ADP, SAP, Oracle, SuccessFactors, etc), or other IT/ERP solutions
At least 4 years of experience in business process analysis and requirements gathering
At least 4 years of experience working in a consulting environment
Certified in Workday Payroll
Preferred Tech and Prof Experience
At least 4 years of Workday Payroll implementation experience as a lead Payroll consultant
At least 8 years of experience in Human Capital Management, Payroll Administration, Payroll programs, and Payroll business processes
At least 8 years of experience deploying HCM SaaS software solutions (i.e., Workday, ADP, SAP, Oracle, SuccessFactors, etc), or other IT/ERP solutions
At least 8 years of experience in business process analysis and requirements gathering
At least 5 years of experience working in a consulting environment
Certified in Workday Human Capital Management (HCM), Payroll
