CACI International Application Developer in Randolph Air Force Base, Texas
Job Description
CACI is seeking a Qualified Oracle PL/SQL developer who will use various Oracle tools to develop new and maintain existing applications in support of the Air Force Officer’s Military Personnel Data System (MilPDS).
What You’ll Get to Do:
Works as a member of the software development team through all aspects of the life cycle process, including:
needs definition
requirements analysis
resource estimating
software design and documentation
coding and unit-testing
Uses knowledge of business processes to make technical recommendations for process improvements
Performs defect correction, including root cause analysis, on pending and production releases
Troubleshoots production problems related to software applications
Design and develop new software products or major enhancements to existing software.
Addresses problems of systems integration, compatibility and multiple platforms.
Consults with project teams and end users to identify application requirements.
Resolves problems with software and respond to suggestions for improvements and enhancements.
Participates in development of software user manuals and documentation
You’ll Bring These Qualifications:
Must be a US Citizen
•Bachelor’s Degree in Computer Science or Related Field of Study
5+ years' experience with:
Creating and maintaining SQL queries
Developing and maintaining applications using Oracle PL/SQL, Oracle Forms, Oracle Reports and Oracle database objects such as procedures, functions, triggers and packages
These Qualifications Would be Nice to Have:
Strong understanding and knowledge of Air Force Human Resource process.
Basic skills in working with UNIX or Linux environments, including shell scripting
Basic skills in source code management tools such as StarTeam
Knowledge of HP Quality Center/ALMKnowledge of Oracle EBS HR module
Experience working in DoD environment
