Applications Sales Representative - Hotel Solutions

As an Oracle Hospitality Sales Representative you will be responsible for generating leads and revenue by selling Oracle Solutions and Services into a number of major accounts in the Hotel industry.

As an Account Manager in the Hospitality Global Business Unit, you will manage a number of our major Hotel customers in the UK.

Key Tasks / Responsibilities to include:

  • Meet and exceed agreed sales and gross margin targets consistently.

  • Generate new business and ability to grow an extensive, qualified pipeline

  • Demonstrated experience and confidence in negotiating and closing sales

  • Manage, develop and maintain sales plans and processes within designated area of responsibility within business unit

  • Weekly and monthly reporting on sales forecasts

  • Keep up to date on all of Oracle Hospitality's products and services

  • Help support and provide all necessary information to the Marketing department

Skills:

  • Ability to present and demonstrate competently at all levels

  • Demonstrated ability to work in a complex and process driven environment

  • Successful track record in achieving target in an Account Management role

  • Experience selling technology or other solutions/services to Hotels with a background in Account management and development.

  • Knowledge of Hotel Property Management Systems (PMS) is a plus

  • Excellent customer facing skills

  • Good experience in major account planning and strategic development.

Detailed Description and Job Requirements

Sells a subset of product or services directly or via partners to a large number of named accounts/non-named accounts/geographical territory (mainly Tier 3 accounts).

Primary job duty is to sell business applications software/solutions and related services to prospective and existing customers. Manage sales through forecasting, account resource allocation, account strategy, and planning. Develop solution proposals encompassing all aspects of the application. Participate in the development, presentation and sales of a value proposition. Negotiate pricing and contractual agreement to close the sale. Identify and develop strategic alignment with key third party influencers.

Job duties are varied and complex, needing independent judgment. May have project lead role. 5 years field sales experience with focus on large strategic accounts including applications sales experience. Highly developed selling, customer relations and negotiation skills. Successful sales track record. Oracle knowledge and/or knowledge of Oracle

  • s competitors. Interaction with C level players. Team player. Ability to penetrate accounts and meet with stakeholders within accounts. Excellent written, verbal, and interpersonal skills. Presentation skills. Travel may be needed. Bachelor degree or equivalent.
