as part of a Global Nerve Center shift, you will be part of the follow-the sun

24/7/365 Oracle Cloud Operations team – with the mission to maintain and enhance

the reliability, performance and operability of the Cloud

environment. Oracle Cloud is a major priority for the company, resulting

positive customer experience.

Using

industry leading technology, as a member of the Tier 1 team, you will be working

daily with highly-acclaimed Software as a Service (SaaS) and Platform as a

Service (PaaS) service offering offerings.

Your Role and Responsibilities:

  • Monitor and administer productionservers/services and test system health

  • Eyes-on-dashboard to ensure environmentvisibility

  • Fulfill tickets from internal andexternal customers related to the management of the Oracle Cloud Platform

  • Work through ticket queues in priorityorder, ensuring the ticketing tool is properly and effectively utilized tocapture information for reporting purposes

  • Respond to monitoring alerts to quicklyidentify trouble source and execute defined SOPs to avoid or reduce eventimpact duration

  • Coordinate with GNC Tier 2 teams,Service Operations, business application and database administrationfunctions to ensure availability, reliability and scalability of systemsto meet business demands

What training will I be given?

Shortly

after your arrival, you will join a training boot camp within one of our data

centres, getting you prepared for the year ahead. We are also constantly

running training for everyone in the team and you will have the opportunity to

follow this varied training as well. You will be assigned a mentor

and together you will build a development plan combining training and coaching

to rapidly ramp you up.
