What you’ll be doing...
As the Principal Consultant, you will serve as a strategic thought leader for the PS organization and clients. You'll have a track record in delivering enterprise and/or telco grade Contact Centre solutions from opportunity identification through to final project closure, requiring strong communication, business, commercial and technical skills. Has significant deployment experience, both hands on and in a consultative capacity, with one of the following technology vendors Cisco, Genesys, Avaya, In Contact or Microsoft in several of the following areas: Contact Centre, Omni-Channel, Scripting, VXML, Workforce Management, Contact Recording, Computer Telephony Integration, VoIP Transformation, Audio/Video/Web Conferencing, Presence, Mobility.
Contribute to developing and documenting practice working processes/practices and frameworks.
To stay informed and maintain expertise in the relevant subject matter areas.
To work closely with account teams, sales engineers, and solutions consultants to promote and identify opportunities for Professional Services; which includes an element of hands-on pre-sales work.
Own and contribute to proposals and statements of work.
To own and execute on consulting engagements across the full lifecycle from initial consultation and discovery to delivery and completion, which includes:
Presentation of Capability.
Problem analysis and requirements capture.
Business case development.
Detailed discovery at strategic, business and technology levels.
High level solution definition.
Technology migration strategy and planning.
Cost / Effort estimation.
Planning and leading PS delivery tasks and projects.
Predicting, measuring, monitoring and presenting outcomes.
Management of 3rd party vendors engaged on project delivery.
Produce quality deliverables in demanding timescales.
Act as an ambassador for Verizon Business Professional Services throughout the organisation and amongst clients and partners.
Mentoring other team members.
Work with minimal supervision as an individual contributor and as lead for Mobility Services team when appropriate.
Manage technical contribution of matrix team(s) of UC&C consultants and engineers toward successful project completion.
What we’re looking for...
You’ll need to have:
Bachelor’s degree or relevant work experience.
Experience and/or current technology certifications/qualifications in one of the following Contact Centre technologies Cisco, Genesys or Avaya.
Willingness to travel throughout EMEA on delivery of services.
Valid driver’s license.
Even better if you have:
Relevant work experience within professional services.
Track record of successful consulting and delivery assignments.
Experience with integration of enterprise applications into communications technology for provisioning and session control purposes.
A sound knowledge and understanding of unified communications systems architectures and the underlying converged network infrastructure.
Strong people/communications skills (e.g. ability to inspire, provide clear direction, gain buy-in, defuse conflict, empathise, educate).
Ability to be a self-starter, innovate and provide thought leadership.
Ability to problem solve, make good decisions and be seen to be trustworthy by client.
Capability to be persuasive and communicate a convincing case.
Presented complex concepts and technology in a straightforward and compelling way.
Ability to engage with stakeholders at all levels within the client and Verizon Business, including senior management and board level.
Engage with both business and IT stakeholders and able to talk their language and understand their issues.
Ability to build professional relationships with colleagues, customers and partners.
Ability to thrive in dynamic environment, with strict time lines.
