Penske Accounting Manager III in Reading, Pennsylvania


Position Summary:

As a Penske Accounting Manager, you will champion controllership and lead your team while managing the fuel and inventory processes through measurements -- while suggesting and implementing process improvements. You will work primarily with internal customers across our Penske finance community.

This opportunity is available due to another promotion at Penske and is located at our beautiful Corporate campus 7 miles South of Reading.

Major Responsibilities:

-Manage and develop high performing processes in the area of fuel/parts reconciliation and accounting.

-Identify and champion improvement opportunities adding value to our company’s performance with measurements and controls.

-Facilitate internal relationships.

-Assure compliance of daily activities with effective measurements in place including performance of global resources.

-Other projects and tasks assigned by manager



  • Bachelor’s Degree Accounting required.

  • 5 years of related experience required.

  • Supervisory experience a plus

  • Strong communication skills, including presentations to senior leadership.

  • Familiar with generally accepted accounting principles (GAAP) required.

  • CPA/MBA a plus

-Strong understanding of Microsoft Outlook, Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and Access.

-Some international travel is expected; estimated to be 1 week per year.

-Regular, predictable, full attendance is an essential function of the job.

-Willingness to travel as necessary, work the required schedule, work at the specific location required, complete Penske employment application, submit to a background investigation (to include past employment, education, and criminal history) and drug screening are required.
