Penske Supervisor - Call Center - Central Reservations in Reading, Pennsylvania
Responsible for the daily operation of Call Center from 7am to 12am, 7 days a week. Ensuring that all systems are operational and department is staffed adequately to business demands. Resolving any issues that impact the daily operation and ensuring that department meets service level and revenue goals daily.
-Work on department initiatives, implement innovative methods, ideas, and programs to improve performance and meet or exceed revenue goals
-Provide a consistent and effective means for communicating to team members
-Lead Team concept utilizing dashboards along with continuous promotions. Allocate the budget to motivate and make improvements through running reward and recognition programs
-All aspects of performance management to include interviewing, hiring, planning, assigning and directing work, appraising performance, rewarding and corrective action
-Addressing customer complaints and resolving problems.
-Provide support to all Team members. Coaching team members on problem resolution and increase revenue opportunities
-Other projects and tasks as assigned by supervisor
-4-5 years of prior customer service and sales experience required
-2-3 Years supervisory experience required
-Bachelor’s Degree or related Call Center experience preferred
-Must have understanding of call center operations and experience in improving operational performance.
-Requires strong leadership, interpersonal and organizational skills
-Strong verbal and written communication skills required
-Must have the ability to maintain a positive attitude, be self-managing and reliable
-Must have professional attitude, presentation and attire
-Proficient in the use of Microsoft Outlook, Word, Excel, Access, and PowerPoint
-Regular, predictable, full attendance is an essential function of the job
-Willingness to travel as necessary, work the required schedule, work at the specific location required, complete Penske employment application, submit to a background investigation (to include past employment, education, and criminal history) and drug screening are required.
