We are seeking hands-on Principal Engineers that share our passion and excitement of operating distributed systems at hyper scale using cloud native best practices. You will have a stake in the next phase of migration to cloud where large customers move from on premise systems to hybrid or complete cloud solutions.
As a Principal engineer in our team, you’ll be responsible and lead efforts in designing and building scalable, distributed, and resilient software components and services to support SaaS Applications and end customers. We believe in ownership and expect you to think long term and empower other engineers. You will own the functionality complete SDLC from architecture, development, testing, first class monitoring, and production.
Experience designing and building highly available services
BS or MS degree in computer science, or equivalent
8-10 years of developing and shipping enterprise distributed and/or cloud native systems
Experience with technologies like Java, Python, other scripting languages
Experience with container and container orchestration technologies (Kubernetes, Docker)
Experience with source control and build systems (GitHub, BitBucket, Maven, Gradle)
Strong understanding of REST APIs.
Comfortable in CI/CD and DevOps model
Strong desire to make an impact and thrive in collaborative and energetic environments
Ability to effectively communicate technical concepts verbally and through design aspects
Detailed Description and Job Requirements
Design, develop, troubleshoot and debug software programs for databases, applications, tools, networks etc.
As a member of the software engineering division, you will take an active role in the definition and evolution of standard practices and procedures. You will be responsible for defining and developing software for tasks associated with the developing, designing and debugging of software applications or operating systems.
Work is non-routine and very complex, involving the application of advanced technical/business skills in area of specialization. Leading contributor individually and as a team member, providing direction and mentoring to others. BS or MS degree or equivalent experience relevant to functional area. 7 years of software engineering or related experience.
