Business Process Analyst, Global Tax & Treasury Project Management Office (PMO)
A Business Process Analyst responsible for driving process
improvement and operational excellence initiatives for Oracle’s Tax &
Treasury organization as a member of the Program Management Office (PMO). Collaborate with cross-functional
stakeholders to develop and enhance business processes and system solutions
required by Oracle’s Tax & Treasury organization. Leverage knowledge of capabilities in
industry recognized software such as Oracle ERP, e-Commerce, EPM, etc. Hands-on approach to operationalize and
optimize business processes to achieve intended goals.
Collaborate with Tax &Treasury stakeholders to transform business processes in the areas of CorporateTax Planning, Income Tax, Non-Income Based Tax, Tax Audit and Treasury.
Develop business processes usingindustry best practices such as DMAIC, SIPOCs, Process Flows, RACIs and SLAs.
Analyze existing businessprocesses and identify opportunities to improve them by partnering closely withBusiness SMEs.
Ability to work withcross-functional stakeholders to ensure broader support for Tax and Treasuryprocesses.
Align with prevailing SoftwareDevelopment Lifecycle (SDLC) to implement Business outcomes.
PERSONAL AND INTERPERSONAL COMPETENCIES
5-7 years of Business Processdevelopment experience in a large enterprise organization using DMAIC/Lean SixSigma best practices.
Lean Greenbelt Certificationand/or Six Sigma Green Belt Certification
Expert knowledge of processmapping tools and ability to create L1, L2, L3 process maps.
Experience with Data AnalyticsTools to collect & analyze data and capture insights.
Ability to facilitatebrainstorming discussions, gather and document inputs from subject matterexperts.
Strong written and verbalcommunication skills, including with senior executive management.
Detail oriented, analytical, andable to manage multiple tasks in a fast-paced environment.
Understanding of projectmanagement methodologies and experience of working on process improvementprojects.
Experience working in InformationTechnology a plus.
BA/BS in Finance, MIS or ComputerScience preferred. MS/MBA is a plus.
Detailed Description and Job Requirements
Compiles information for statutory reports as well as internal tax reporting. Ensure accurate and timely filing of tax returns.
Be an integral partner in Oracle's business decisions to enhance shareholder value by providing tax-related advice globally to all business units. Assist with governmental audits, internal audits and/or fiscal recharges. Ensure company complies with worldwide statutory tax reporting specifications. Focus areas include transfer pricing and intercompany transactions. identify international assignment tax issues for employees working in another country. Develop strategies to minimize corporate tax through use of tax laws and regulations. May be involved with tax implications of mergers and acquisitions.
Job duties are varied and complex utilizing independent judgment. May have project lead role. Maintain current knowledge of all tax laws affecting Oracle. Detail oriented, analytical, and able to manage multiple tasks in a fast paced environment. 5 plus years experience in public accounting firm and/or high technology industry. CPA and or MS/MBA tax preferred.
