This is a unique opportunity to join an established, yet evolving, high-performing team of brand creatives, at the intersection of awareness, perception, and demand generation. This role is part of Oracle Brand Creative, responsible for ensuring the Oracle brand values are meaningfully implemented across marketing initiatives and brand experiences—to deliver customer-centric, engaging, and measurable user experiences and customer journey narratives. All this is done in support of a broad product portfolio, for a broad range of audiences.

Lead by identifying trends and defining new standards; excel by breaking them when they become irrelevant. Leverage your proven talent and extensive experience in content strategy, UX content architecture and digital copywriting. Partner with UX design leaders and practitioners, publishing team, and senior web strategist to break new ground in digital content experiences for oracle.com and its related web properties.

Responsibilities

Include but are not limited to the following:

1 Analyze and interpret marketing’s business goals, and oracle.com’s engagement goals to define customer-centric content strategy for site architecture and customer journeys

2 Translate industry- and persona-specific needs into new organizational structures and interactive content flows

3 Conduct content audits, and develop content plans for web, microsites, tours, forms

4 Assume the role of brand storyteller blending positioning, messaging, and stats into clear, tangible narratives and engagement schemes

5 Write short-form copy that delivers on digital usability, persuasion, brand, and customer delight requirements, ensuring messaging consistency and alignment to journey stages

6 Craft smart, engaging copy that reveals industry and personal benefits in what otherwise are dense, technical, and marketing content dumps

7 Vet content for accuracy and optimize for digital engagement and lead generation

8 Make content decisions based on comprehensive metrics and analysis

9 Build messaging guidelines, advocating for clarity, brevity, and meaning

10 Work with key stake holders to establish new global benchmarks and develop scalable processes to bring content to market in new, innovate ways reaching new audiences.

Qualifications

  • 5 years experience in SaaS products, ideally trial-driven inbound environments

  • 5 years experience in modern, responsive web UX content strategy and development

  • 5 years working in advertising agency or digital in-house group

  • Mastery of digital content best practices and experience with organic driven engines

  • Mastery of SEO best practices

  • Experience working in agile design and development processes and mobile conversion flows

  • Extensive experience in enterprise-scale product portfolios

  • Extensive experience in design thinking and user experience

  • Experience working within and navigating fast-paced, opinionated, multi-layered, distributed organizations

  • Proven record of conceptualizing and translating complex requirements into simple and delightful digital content experiences

Development of communication programs to promote Oracle

Integrate advertising into the marketing campaigns, exercising judgment and business acumen in selecting methods and techniques for best practice / creative solution. As a recognized authority and leading contributor maintain regular interface between the division and Corporate. Plan and manage pan-geography corporate and local campaign media plans. Plan, manage and implement corporate and local campaign advertising creative. Manage tier 2 local advertising and arrange sign off with Corporate. Integrate all advertising across the communications mix. Maintain and communicate brand advertising guidelines. Oversee partner advertising. Develop and manage brand communications audit. Measure advertising effectiveness.

Leading contributor individually and as a team member, providing direction and mentoring to others. Work is non-routine and very complex, involving the application of advanced technical/business skills in area of specialization. 8 years relevant work experience. A proven track record in advertising across line-of-business and/or geography as an account manager, with experience of creative production and media buying.
