Director of Finance, NetSuite Services
As a senior member of the NetSuite Finance team, this role will be responsible for providing finance support for the NetSuite Services organization (>2600 people) which is a key part of the $1B NetSuite business. This includes being a trusted business financial adviser and partner to the Senior Vice President of the group and other key leaders in the LOB.
The individual will manage a finance staff of 5 supporting the NetSuite Consulting, Support, and Advanced Customer Support teams
Will be a part of the NetSuite Services SVP’s key leadership team as the finance leader, providing strategic financial support and advice
Will support all regions and provide strategic direction on standards including financial processes and reporting for all aspects of the business
Lead the forecasting, budgeting, and long range planning process for the Services business/teams
Performance variance analysis of actuals and forecasts compared to prior periods, forecasts, and budgets
Financial presentations to the business and the preparation of quarterly reporting schedules
Build and maintain high-level knowledge across business area by staying current on initiatives, challenges and opportunities across the business. Understand associated risks and opportunities. Develop an understanding of critical business performance drivers
Must be capable of leveraging the larger Oracle Financial community effectively, and gather and analyse information and resolve business issues across the organization
Will be responsible for driving finance initiatives, key cross functional business practices, the management of both the budgeting and forecasting processes
Assist in the development of short, medium, and long term plans to achieve strategic objectives and regularly interacts with senior management to ensure objectives are met
Influence thinking or gain acceptance of others in business situations. Strong analytical and problem solving skills
Work closely and collaboratively with Services Operations team on a daily basis
Ensure data quality and accuracy of management reporting
Participate in various Global Business Finance change initiatives to drive improvements in efficiency effectiveness of financial reporting and business partnership
Participate in quarter end activities and contribute in close process
Proactively drive analysis on key trends and understand business drivers behind the trends we are seeing in the results
Ad hoc financial modeling and analysis as needed

BS in Finance or Accounting preferred, MBA or CPA a plus
Minimum 10 years finance/accounting experience (MBA is equivalent to two years’ experience)
Strong Excel and PowerPoint skills are a must

Experience with NetSuite, Adaptive Planning, and Oracle a plus
Detailed Description and Job Requirements
Serves as a financial advisor and business partner in managing the activities of the financial analyst staff. Ensures that global business processes and practices are followed in providing accurate financial analysis in support of Oracle's business to facilitate decision making and future business strategies. Manages a professional staff.
As a member of Oracle's finance organization, you will manage the finance team and drive key cross functional business practices such as management of the budget and forecasting processes. Your will prepare, administer, and direct the control of the budget. Review and approve recommendations for financial planning and control. Monitor divisions and subsidiaries adherence to budgets. Develop, implement, and integrate financial practices across multiple organizations and locations. Develop, recommend, and implement financial policies, practices, and process changes.
Assists in the development of short, medium, and long term plans to achieve strategic objectives. Regularly interacts across functional areas with senior management or executives to ensure unit objectives are met. Ability to influence thinking or gain acceptance of others in sensitive situations. Strong analytical and problem solving skills. Serves as process owner; ability to identify cross-functional issues. Demonstrated leadership skills. 10 years relevant experience and BA/BS degree in Accounting or Finance preferred. CPA/MBA desired.
