Director of Product Management
The Oracle Healthcare Supply Chain organization is searching for a leader who is technical, product-oriented, and business driven, with a deep knowledge and experience in the Healthcare Supply Chain domain.
This leader will work cross functionally with our Product Management, Engineering, and Design teams to drive our product vision and achieve strategic business objectives. Responsibilities also include developing and reshaping the product management organization, analyzing current & future product performance, driving efficiencies in customer use-cases, and refreshing our UX design on the web and exploring opportunities in mobile.
Lead a global product management team for Oracle's Healthcare supply chain organization.
Gather inputs from customers, validate and prioritize development plan, and write necessary documents to guide development
Work closely with Development and Documentation teams during the development process, ensure that the product and cloud services functionality being built is consistent with customer expectations and that it also helps establish significant market leadership for Oracle compared to competing products
Maintain deep relationships with key customers – as the Development advocate/sponsor for these customers, ensure their continued success with Oracle’s products and cloud services, and in turn cultivate the relationships to develop highly effective marketing references
Work with customers directly, as well as Oracle Customer Support, Sales and Sales Consulting teams to understand customer usage patterns, help deployment of Oracle’s innovative technologies and cloud services by working with customers’ architecture teams, and improve the adoption of best practices around Talent Management Suit and additional products and cloud services in the future
Work with Corporate and Field Marketing to evangelize and help establish the Talent Management within the customer base
Plan and execute product announcements, and help coordinate beta testing
Provide hands-on training for Customer Support and Technical Sales personnel, as well as for select customers
Develop collateral such as technical and business white papers, success stories, data sheets, brochures, best practices and product presentations
Maintain internal and external web sites on related technologies
Present at Oracle user group meetings, trade shows, customer sites, industry conferences, industry analyst meetings and at the Oracle Customer Visit Center
Track the market landscape, as well as competitive products and features
12 or more years of engineering / product management / technical sales experience
Excellent written and communication / presentation skills
BS / MS in Computer Science or related technical degree
Balanced mix of leadership and technical skills
Awareness of trends and opportunities in Talent Management and potential influence on Oracle’s business
Analytical skills, with a passion to solve complex technology and business problems, and an aptitude to learn new things
Meticulous, structured and detail-oriented, while also having the ability to see the big-picture

Detailed Description and Job Requirements
Manage a team that acts as the central resource and driving force for the design, process, manufacturing, test, quality and marketing of product(s) as they move from conception to distribution. Organize interdepartmental activities ensuring completion of the project/product on schedule and within budget.
As a Senior Director in the product development division, you will lead a team that defines product specifications and or strategy. Gather and analyze information to define product specifications and review design specifications. Envision and communicate product strategy and functionality. Initiate and foster relationships with other groups. Review product documentation and collateral. Ensure successful product releases based on corporate priorities.
Directs and ensures the implementation of operational policies through subordinate managers. Interacts internally and externally with executive management, providing negotiation of difficult matters to influence policy. Functional expertise and broad company knowledge important. Demonstrated leadership and people management skills. Strong communication skills, analytical skills, thorough understanding of product development and product management. BS or MS degree or equivalent experience relevant to functional area. 8 or more years of software engineering or related experience preferred.
