As a member of the Quoting to Order and Contracts IT team you will design and integrate the tools to enable the Quote to Order systems processes.

We are currently seeking an experienced Principal Consultant to join our OAL IT team and work from our Redwood Shores, California Headquarter office.

This individual will work in an individual contributor lead role in designing and implementing application in the “Configure Price Quote” and Order domains.

Duties involved in this position:

  • Design, develop and implement product solutions across “Configure Price Quote” CPQ and Order Management systems domain, in particular CPQ, Fusion Order Management, Fusion Contracts and other internal custom tools.

  • Develop and implement new custom tools and product extensions/customizations


  • 8-10 years of relevant IT or Development experience, preferably in an IT, Consulting or other Development organization

  • Oracle Applications, Fusion ERP or Fusion CRM implementation or support experience highly desirable.

  • Database technologies and related expertise in SQL, PL/SQL

  • Strong developer knowledge of SOA and related Web technologies XML/XSL, Java/J2EE, Javascript

  • Proven design experience and ER Data Modeling expertise

  • Leading contributor individually and as a team member, providing direction and mentoring to others.

  • Translate business needs into viable technical solutions

  • Co-ordination within team and across global IT teams

  • Strong analytical and problem solving skills

  • Self motivated with demonstrated investigative skills and ability to prioritize and multi-task

  • A BS/MS degree in Engineering, Information Technology or Equivalent discipline.

As a member of the IT organization, assist with the analyze of existing complex programs and formulate logic for new complex internal systems. Prepare flowcharting, perform coding, and test/debug programs. Develop conversion and system implementation plans. Recommend changes to development, maintenance, and system standards.

Leading contributor individually and as a team member, providing direction and mentoring to others. Work is non-routine and very complex, involving the application of advanced technical/business skills in area of specialization. BS or equivalent experience in programming on enterprise or department servers or systems.
