AboutOracle’s Transfer Pricing Compliance Team:

  • The Transfer Pricing TaxCompliance team is responsible for the operational aspects of the transfer pricingtax function of the organization, in three main contexts: tax provisionforecast, US GAAP books and local statutory books.

Responsibilities:

  • Preparation/review of transferpricing calculations as part of the quarterly tax provision forecast

  • Preparation of the calendar of thequarterly tax provision forecast and coordinating/monitoring its individualsteps

  • Preparation/review of transferpricing calculations for Oracle entities

  • Preparation/submittal of transferpricing journal entries to be recorded in US GAAP books

  • monitoring the accuracy oftransfer pricing transactions booked in US GAAP books

  • Preparation/review of FIN48transfer pricing reserves for Oracle domestic entities

  • Coordinating the transfer pricingaspects of the integration of acquired entities, from the change-in-controlperiod, until the final operational integration

  • Reconciliation of restructuringexpenses incurred by Oracle entities, in the context of transfer pricingcalculations

  • Regular communication with TaxPlanning team to gather inputs regarding transfer pricing arrangements

  • Assist Tax Planning and Auditteams in various projects and requests

PreferredQualifications:

  • Transfer pricing complianceexperience, preferably within a large corporation with multinational entities

  • Prior experience calculating FIN48transfer pricing reserves

  • CPA or equivalent experience understandingUS GAAP, the booking of journal entries, and of financial reporting

  • Bachelors’ Degree or Masters’Degree in Accounting or Taxation

  • Ability to work independently

  • Strong professional verbal andwritten communication skills

Detailed Description and Job Requirements

Compiles information for statutory reports as well as internal tax reporting. Ensure accurate and timely filing of tax returns.

Be an integral partner in Oracle's business decisions to enhance shareholder value by providing tax-related advice globally to all business units. Assist with governmental audits, internal audits and/or fiscal recharges. Ensure company complies with worldwide statutory tax reporting specifications. Focus areas include transfer pricing and intercompany transactions. identify international assignment tax issues for employees working in another country. Develop strategies to minimize corporate tax through use of tax laws and regulations. May be involved with tax implications of mergers and acquisitions.

Leading contributor individually and as a team member, providing direction and mentoring to others. Work is non-routine and very complex, involving the application of advanced technical/business skills in area of specialization. Maintain current knowledge of all tax laws affecting Oracle. Detail oriented, analytical, and able to manage multiple tasks in a fast paced environment. 8 plus years experience in public accounting firm and/or high technology industry. CPA and or MS/MBA tax preferred.
