The Oracle Customer Data Platform (CDP) team is building a new product, focusing on data management, powered AI segment builder/explore and analytical dashboards to enable marketers take advantage of single 360 view of the customer profile, transactional and behavioral data. The CDP team is responsible for maintaining and upkeeping the data to provide the latest focused customer audience for marketers to leverage. Combining this product with Oracle's Marketing product suite, e.g. Responsys and Eloqua, provides the Oracle's customer with a world class end-to-end solution for their B2C and B2B marketing needs.

Job Description

Oracle CDP team is looking for Principal Quality Engineer, with proven skills in both Manual and Automation Testing, with a wide experience in various Quality Assurance processes and lifecycle.

Responsibilities

a) Functional Testing:

  • Review functional specs and develop, maintain functional Test Cases & Test Plan

  • Test execution, maintenance and documentation of Test Results

  • Regression and Non Functional Test Execution

  • Debug issues and provide potential resolutions

b) Automation Testing:

  • Developing scripts for various applications using tools and scripting

  • Setting up and executing tests, verifying results and reporting defects

  • Maintenance including updating scripts for new builds and when new functionality is added

  • Analyze test results and recommend corrective actions

Qualifications

o Extensive knowledge of QA processes and methodologies applied in an agile environment

o Expert in developing automation scripts from scratch and hands on experience on automation tools like OATS, Selenium

o Proficient in any scripting language like PERL, Python, JS

o Experience with CI/CD/CT (Continuous Integration/Continuous Deployment/Continuous Testing)

o Strong ability to interpret and summarize test metrics, including the ability to correlate, create and present result reports for various audiences

o Experience of Big Data and Complex API testing

o Experience with designing and building automation architecture

Preferred Qualifications

o Possess B.E/B.Tech/ M.E/M.Tech/MCA degree in a field relevant to functional area

o Possess 5 – 9 years of automation testing development

o Certified in Agile/SCRUM

o Certification in CSQA / CSQE

o Experience testing Machine Learning models

Detailed Description and Job Requirements

Responsible for developing, applying and maintaining quality standards for company products with adherence to both internal and external standards. Develops and executes software test plans. Analyzes and writes test standards and procedures. Maintains documentation of test results. Analyzes test results and recommends corrective actions.

As a member of the technical/process QA division, you will design functional, integration and regression test plans, build and execute manual and automated tests and perform highly complex analysis for multiple products. Set cross-functional product testing standards. Analyze, evaluate and plan methods of approach and organize means to achieve solutions to complex problems.

Work is non-routine and very complex, involving the application of advanced technical/business skills in area of specialization. Leading contributor individually and as a team member, providing direction and mentoring to others. BS or MS degree or equivalent experience relevant to functional area. 7 years of software engineering or related experience.
