Product Manager/Strategy 5-ProdDev

As a Product Manager for OCI OneConsole’s Customer Account Management application for Cloud
customers, you will
set strategy and build features that provides financial information related to a
customer’s Subscriptions and available services, visualization of usage data over time, Invoice
information and payment features
You will define a product roadmap, work with developers to deliver, and
roll out the new features to
Oracle's customers. The role is a customer facing, highly cross-functional and requires a candidate to
help drive requirements and not wait for them.
You will be responsible to not just gather and prioritize requirements with internal Oracle stakeholders
but also interact and conduct user interviews with Oracle’s end customers, build strong relationships
and trust as well as represent Oracle.
You will be responsible for defining the feature roadmap. You will work closely with a variety of
stakeholders including business executives, finance, sales, support, and product development
leaders.
Responsibilities
:
- Define the product roadmap, work
closely with a variety of stakeholders including business
executives, engineering teams, cross functional product management leaders, business owners.
- Engage and collaborate with business and development stakeholders to understand business objectives
and requirement
- Work closely with teams across the organization to design cross-functional solutions using Agile
development methodology. Cross-functional teams include Oracle Cloud Infrastructure, Oracle’s
Store Platform, Renewals, Order-to-Cash process owners, Customer Success/Support, product
development, subscription billing teams,
Corporate team.
Work with the engineering team, UX team to propose solution designs and build features.
Define use cases, determine feature prioritization and planning.
Collaborate with various business owners to gain alignment and drive the development of
functionalities.
- Anticipate bottlenecks, manage risk and escalations, and balance the business needs versus
technical constraints
- Clearly communicate with technical owners, product managers, and senior executives.
Prioritize
product backlog and maintain product roadmap.
Basic Qualifications:
10 years of product management success in enterprise software company or IT organization.
5 years experience in building an end user / customer facing application.
Large-scale cloud product experience.
Experience in building cloud customer facing applications.
Demonstrated ability to own projects, solution with precision, and influence across all levels of
an organization
Exceptional analytical, quantitative, communication, and presentation skills
Experience interacting with senior executives and other management within a company.
Exceptionally strong written and verbal communication skills.
Strong organizational, multitasking, and prioritization abilities; excellent attention to detail.
An analytical, data-driven approach toward solving complex challenges.
Ability to devise and implement KPI’s across an organization
Successful, proven launch of multiple, global, enterprise cloud services or solutions in CX, CRM,
analytics and/or ERP.
- Expert in product management best practices, process, artifacts, UX design, testing and defect
management

Detailed Description and Job Requirements
Lead a team that acts as the central resource and driving force for the design, process, manufacturing, test, quality and marketing of product(s) as they move from conception to distribution. Organize interdepartmental activities ensuring completion of the project/product on schedule and within budget.
As a member of the product development division, you will specify, design and implement major changes to existing software architecture. Define project needs. Build and execute unit tests and unit test plans. Review integration and regression plans created by QA. Communicate with QA and porting engineering to ensure consistency, testability and portability across products in general.
Provide leadership and expertise in the development of new products/services/processes, frequently operating at the leading edge of technology. Recommends and justifies major changes to existing products/services/processes. BS or MS degree or equivalent experience relevant to functional area. 8 or more years of software engineering or related experience.
