Senior Business Process Analyst, Global Tax & Treasury PMO

Senior Business Process Analyst responsible for driving process improvement and

operational excellence initiatives for Oracle’s Tax & Treasury organization

as a member of the Program Management Office (PMO). Collaborate with cross-functional

stakeholders to develop and enhance business processes and system solutions

required by Oracle's Tax & Treasury organization. Leverage knowledge of

capabilities in industry recognized software such as Oracle ERP, e-Commerce,

EPM, etc. Hands-on approach to

operationalize and optimize business processes to achieve intended goals.

  • Collaborate with Tax & Treasury stakeholders to transformbusiness processes in the areas of Corporate Tax Planning, Income Tax,Non-Income Based Tax, Tax Audit and Treasury.

  • Develop businesses processes using industry best practices such asDMAIC, SIPOCs, Process Flows, RACIs, and SLAs.

  • Analyze existing business processes and identify opportunities toimprove them by partnering closely with Business SMEs.

  • Influence cross-functional stakeholders to ensure broader supportfor Tax and Treasury processes.

  • Ability to structure a large amount of data in a Processframework.

  • Develop effective means to govern operational processes. Define and measure KPIs to drive continuousimprovement.

  • Assess the use of new and emerging technologies such as MachineLearning and Advanced Analytics to create business value.

  • Align with prevailing Software Development Lifecycle (SDLC) toimplement Business outcomes.

  • Align with Oracle's Security processes and support securing GlobalInformation Security (GIS) approval for systems initiatives.


  • 10 years of Business Process development experience in a largeenterprise organization using DMAIC/Lean Six Sigma best practices.

  • Lean Greenbelt Certification and/or Six Sigma Green BeltCertification

  • Expert knowledge of process mapping tools and ability to createL1, L2, L3 process maps.

  • Experience with Data Analytics Tools to collect & analyze dataand capture insights.

  • Ability to facilitate brainstorming discussions, gather anddocument inputs from subject matter experts.

  • Strong written and verbal communication skills, including withsenior executive engagement.

  • Detail oriented, analytical, and able to manage multiple tasks ina fast-paced environment.

  • Experience with one or more RPA (Robotic Process Automation)technologies is highly desirable.

  • Understanding of project management methodologies and experienceof working on process improvement projects.

  • Significant information technology work experience.

  • BA/BS in Finance, MIS or Computer Science preferred. MS/MBA is plus.

Detailed Description and Job Requirements

Compiles information for statutory reports as well as internal tax reporting. Ensure accurate and timely filing of tax returns.

Be an integral partner in Oracle's business decisions to enhance shareholder value by providing tax-related advice globally to all business units. Assist with governmental audits, internal audits and/or fiscal recharges. Ensure company complies with worldwide statutory tax reporting specifications. Focus areas include transfer pricing and intercompany transactions. identify international assignment tax issues for employees working in another country. Develop strategies to minimize corporate tax through use of tax laws and regulations. May be involved with tax implications of mergers and acquisitions.

Leading contributor individually and as a team member, providing direction and mentoring to others. Work is non-routine and very complex, involving the application of advanced technical/business skills in area of specialization. Maintain current knowledge of all tax laws affecting Oracle. Detail oriented, analytical, and able to manage multiple tasks in a fast paced environment. 8 plus years experience in public accounting firm and/or high technology industry. CPA and or MS/MBA tax preferred.
