Oracle Cloud Business Group is looking for a business leader to lead and manage our Product Marketing team responsible for core Oracle Cloud Platform offerings including Enterprise Integration (App, Data, Process, and APIs), Mobile, Conversational AI (Chatbots), and Content and Experience. Product Marketing plays a strategic role within Oracle, responsible for messaging and positioning, competitive differentiation, defining go-to-market and product strategy, digital customer experience and driving execution. The ideal candidate would have experience managing a team of 8-10 people and is a strategist who has knowledge and experience in the Cloud Integration, Mobile or App Dev markets and can work cross-functionally to drive rapid revenue growth for Oracle Cloud Platform.

As a Sr. Director in product marketing, you will be responsible for the following:

  • Build, Manage, and lead an industry leading product marketing team that continuously achieves or surpasses its overall objectives and targets

  • Lead the development of global Cloud GTM plans and specifications for Oracle Cloud Platform’s Integration, Mobile, Chatbots, and Content & Experience offerings

  • Establish and expand Oracle’s leadership and market position in each of the above categories

  • Drive an integrated and compelling digital experience (web, social, & mobile) for users interested in Oracle Cloud Platform services

  • Manage marketing activities within the context of the overall corporate plan to meet company objectives.

  • Monitor the development of business plans and business results.

  • Manage lifecycles and product positioning in the market place.

  • Identify customer needs, oversee market research, and monitor the market trends/competitive landscape.

  • Implement and monitor field sales plays, integrated campaigns.

  • Act as a advisor for specific product(s) including public speaking.

  • Initiate and foster relationships with development, sales, and other groups to develop new products or enhance functionality of existing product(s) or product line(s).

  • Ensure successful product releases and launches based on corporate priorities.

  • Deep knowledge of either Enterprise Integration or Mobile markets

  • Experience in managing a product marketing or product management team of 5 people

  • Ideal candidate would also have experience in driving successful digital initiatives that maps to each step of the customer journey from awareness and education to conversion to paid

  • Ability to work across teams (development, marketing, sales and services) to drive key initiatives

  • Demonstrated bias for action and driving results

  • Minimum 5 years of experience in roles such as product management or product marketing within the technology industry. Specific experience in cloud computing is required.

  • BA/BS in Computer Science, Computer Engineering (preferred), Marketing or related field

  • MBA (or equivalent in related work experience)

As a manager in product marketing, you will be responsible for leading the development of company marketing specifications for specific product(s) or product line(s). Manage marketing activities within the context of the overall corporate plan to meet company objectives. Monitor the development of business plans and business results of e-marketing. Manage lifecycles and product positioning in the market place. Identify customer needs, oversee market research, and monitor the market trends/competitive landscape. Implement and monitor advertising campaigns. Act as a technical advisor for specific product(s). Initiate and foster relationships with development, sales, and other groups to develop new products or enhance functionality of existing product(s) or product line(s). Ensure successful product releases based on corporate priorities.

Assists in the development of short, medium, and long term plans to achieve strategic objectives. Regularly interacts across functional areas with senior management or executives to ensure unit objectives are met. Ability to influence thinking or gain acceptance of others in sensitive situations. Practical internet knowledge. Software business management experience. 7 years technical marketing experience. Previous development experience or developer marketing experience desired. Ability to manage multiple projects and priorities. Successful track record in management. BA/BS degree. MBA preferred.
