Senior Finance Manager, Customer Support Services
As a member of Oracle’s finance organization, you will be responsible for Compensation responsibilities within the CSS Global Business Finance (GBF) organization related to the annual planning process, commission expense management, ongoing plan issuance and Compensation metrics/analysis. In addition, this you will be responsible for FP&A activities related to managing of Global Information Technology forecast and budget.
The Finance Manager is responsible for:
Partnering with the Global Compensation Administration, Global Incentive Compensation, Sales Operations, Human Resources and Finance organizations in order to deliver sales plan structures that drive desired outcomes
Identifying and addressing areas of compensation risk
Recommend and analyze new sales plan designs
Serves as front line contact for Mega/Large Deal and Performance Review approvals and inquiries
Develop and support quota models and templates and KPIs
Approve sales plans and monitor plan issuance status
Review and approve all work done by the CSS Compensation finance team
Partnering with Global Information Technology organization to drive forecasting, budgeting, analysis and reporting of their financials
The Finance Manager manages a global team responsible for but not limited to:
Audit and approve Contracts and SPIFs for compensation
Implement and maintain Compensation reporting including attainment reporting
Manage Commission Expense including accrual calculation and submission
Develop and maintain internal Compensation process training and documentation material
BA/BS required, preferably in Finance, Accounting or Business Administration (MBA Desired)
8 years of professional work experience in sales compensation, sales operations or Finance (FP&A)
Ability to demonstrate good judgment and make quick decisions
High attention to detail
Able to meet strict deadlines and work effectively under pressure
Excellent written, verbal, and presentation skills
History of establishing effective business relationships and partner across functions and geographies
Self-starter able to prioritize given responsibilities.
Ability to analyze data and develop recommendations

Serves as a financial advisor and business partner in managing the activities of the financial analyst staff. Ensures that global business processes and practices are followed in providing accurate financial analysis in support of Oracle
- s business to facilitate decision making and future business strategies. Manages a professional staff.
As a member of Oracle
- s finance organization, you will manage the finance team and drive key cross functional business practices such as management of the budget and forecasting processes. Your will prepare, administer, and direct the control of the budget. Review and approve recommendations for financial planning and control. Monitor divisions and subsidiaries adherence to budgets. Develop, implement, and integrate financial practices across multiple organizations and locations. Develop, recommend, and implement financial policies, practices, and process changes.
Manages and controls activities in multi-functional areas of sections. Ensures appropriate operational planning is effectively executed to meet Corporate specifications. Strong analytical and problem solving skills, ability to manage processes, and identify cross-functional issues. Demonstrated leadership skills. 8 years relevant experience and BA/BS degree in Accounting or Finance preferred. CPA/MBA desired.
