product lines in the company, including: Autonomous Database Cloud Service, AI

Platform, Blockchain, Chatbots, Security and more, this group is at the tip of

the spear in leading programs that help accelerate sales, drive new product

strategy, and new marketing programs.

As

a Senior

Product Marketing Director responsible for executive

communications and content strategy you will be working directly with VPs, SVPs across all

of Oracle Cloud Platform. You will have the unique responsibility for working

collaboratively to design and build executive pitches, executive keynotes and

executing on key communications plans for Oracle’s Cloud Platform team across

PaaS/IaaS.

You will partner across internal business teams (PR, AR, Corporate Marketing)

and other corporate marketing communications divisions at Oracle to develop and

build key stories for thought leadership, media influence, and overall

awareness of Oracle’s cloud leadership. In addition, will build a regular

cadence of internal communications to key sales organizations across regions to

drive consistency of sales plays, enablement content, and more.

Additionally,

you will help messaging creation to keep current our overall integrated value

proposition for Cloud, Cloud Platform, Autonomous Software, and emerging

technologies. You will also drive content and messaging adoption across global

social media and social media advocacy programs.

Preferred Qualifications

  • 7years of experience in communications, consulting, or business analysis,preferably in a communications or exec-facing content strategy capacity. Thisincludes meeting facilitation, stakeholder reviews, cross-functionalcollaboration, organizing digital marketing assets, and communication to bothinternal and external stakeholders.

  • 7years in a sales enablement and/or product marketing or similar rolesinterfacing with sales leadership/Marketing on supporting execution of GTMstrategy/programs

  • 3years executive facing presentations, working with agencies or graphics teamsin putting together high-impact story-telling.

  • Excellentcommunication skills and experience leading content projects, cultivatingchange, facilitating stakeholder review, and executing projects quickly.

  • Presentationexperience including content creation and delivery.

  • Knowledgeof IT industry challenges, such as application modernization, datawarehousing, new application development, Security, operations management.

Additionalskills:

  • Experienced inPaaS and IaaS technologies, and other Cloud solutions: (database, management,application development, security, integration, analytics, compute)

  • Understandingof new innovative technologies: AI, Blockchain, IoT, Chatbots, Automation,

  • Cloud productmarketing and/or Cloud sales enablement experience

Education: B.S. / B.A. Marketing and MBA

preferred. Life experiences that have provided similar grounding in

marketing are also appropriate.

TravelComponent: <20% travel will likely

be required to successfully fill this role.

Detailed Description and Job Requirements

Development and implementation of business plans, marketing strategy, and forecasts for a product/service or vertical market.

As a product analyst you will participate in every stage of the product life cycle to ensure product meets the needs of users. Drive the implementation of programs in support of the marketing strategy, business plans, and forecasts for assigned product lines. Maintains current status of customer specifications for existing and future products. Identify, evaluate, and recommend marketing opportunities in support of product line objectives. Drive product functionality delivering high quality product documentation. Lead products through scheduled release assisting others to manage commitments and resources. Measure and report progress and review deliverables.

Acknowledged authority within the Corporation. Provides leadership and expertise in the development of new products/services/processes, frequently operating at the leading edge of technology. Demonstrated product/project management experience. Ability to work with Executives. Strong interpersonal skills. Excellent written and verbal communication. Demonstrated product/project management experience. Creative, energetic, and enthusiastic. Team player. Experience using or implementing Oracle, SAP, or Peoplesoft applications. Basic HTML and web technology skills a plus. BA/BS/MBA degree.
