use your knowledge of product and digital marketing, social media, SaaS and

Paas to position, promote, drive awareness and fuel demand for Oracle Analytics

Analytics Product Marketing - Responsibilities

This is a core product marketing position to

drive market acceleration for Oracle Analytics Cloud and Big Data products.

  • Create top-notch Customerfacing content for product launches, inbound and outbound marketingprograms and sales plays with emphasis on digital assets including blogs,digibooks, galleries, videos and customer stories

  • Define messaging for targetbuyers, Business and/or Technical, with focus on value and benefits ratherthan features or functions

  • Leverage social media to reachour target prospects and large, growing community of followers andCustomers

  • Build and deliver (live andvirtually) compelling Sales enablement material for Field, Inside Salesand Partner channels including conversation starters, battlecards,objection handling guides and customer stories

  • Develop competitivedifferentiation with actionable Sales conversation points and Customerfacing benefits

  • Conduct market analysis andsegmentation of installed base and white space, with emphasis onidentifying new opportunities

  • Collaborate with productmarketing colleagues in SaaS and PaaS to leverage the Analytics valueproposition across the Oracle portfolio

  • Minimum of 7 years productmarketing and/or solution marketing experience

  • Expertise and a proven trackrecord successfully marketing Analytics, Big Data, Machine Learning and/orSaaS applications

  • Experience writing compelling,high quality documents and presentations.

  • Proven ability to simplifycomplex topics and crisply articulate value and benefit

  • Experience utilizing digitalmarketing and social media to promote messages and to generate awarenessand demand

  • Affinity for analyzing data tomake informed marketing decisions

  • Experience positioning andmessaging products

  • Excellent written,visual/presentation skills. You like telling stories and helping peopleunderstand their key messages.

  • Ability to think strategicallywith tactical execution

  • Demonstrated ability to workacross cross-functional teams to achieve business objectives

  • Bias for action; motivated withability to prioritize tasks and work in a fast-paced, dynamic environment

  • Bachelor’s degree in business,marketing, engineering or related field; MBA preferred.

  • You will maintain a keen focuson how all of your activities support the growth of our revenues andcustomer satisfaction.

Development and implementation of business plans, marketing strategy, and forecasts for a product/service or vertical market.

As a product analyst you will participate in every stage of the product life cycle to ensure product meets the needs of users. Drive the implementation of programs in support of the marketing strategy, business plans, and forecasts for assigned product lines. Maintains current status of customer specifications for existing and future products. Identify, evaluate, and recommend marketing opportunities in support of product line objectives. Drive product functionality delivering high quality product documentation. Lead products through scheduled release assisting others to manage commitments and resources. Measure and report progress and review deliverables.

Leading contributor individually and as a team member, providing direction and mentoring to others. Work is non-routine and very complex, involving the application of advanced technical/business skills in area of specialization. Demonstrated product/project management experience. Ability to work with Executives. Strong interpersonal skills. Excellent written and verbal communication. Demonstrated product/project management experience. Creative, energetic, and enthusiastic. Team player. Experience using or implementing Oracle, SAP, or Peoplesoft applications. Basic HTML and web technology skills a plus. 8 years technology/industry experience and BA/BS/MBA degree.
