How Will You Make an Impact?

The Global Senior Business Manager will build a strong foundational business relationship with Global strategic clients with respect to execution of Commercial business, which represents a high level of volume and complexity on a global scale. You will have a deep understanding of both the technical and business specifics with respect to the client, as well as the business requirements at each site in which the client operates. Will identify solutions to help the company achieve our Global Business Strategy both for the client as well as the sites in which the client does/will do business.

What will you do?

  • Ensure a consistent client experience while also generating business growth.

  • Develop and maintain a global Governance Structure and relationship charter, ensure clear communication channels are established and will serve as a single escalation point of contact.

  • Assist and work with the Sales Organization, Global Senior Account Manager in identifying, developing business opportunities, ensuring the successful completion of Technology Transfers and to maintain the Global Portfolio review.

  • Will work closely with site GM, Director, Business Management and functional Leadership Team members, in which the client operates, at defined control points (Business Reviews, kick offs, lessons learned, escalations, etc) and will ensure that these control points are harmonized and executed in a similar manner representative of the Pharma Services Group way and to the clients expectations.

  • Will ensure alignment across site and executive leadership with the direction and vision for operational strategy that is shared with the client.

  • Will serve as the liaison across Business Units to ensure relative client information is communicated and aligned in the best interest of Thermo Fisher and the client and to oversee the introduction of new products from the pipeline.

How will you get there?

Education

Bachelor’s Degree in Science, Finance and/or Business required. Masters of Business Administration (MBA) degree desired

Experience

  • 12-years of previous related experience

  • 5 to 8 years in project management, account management, sales or marketing with internal or external client-facing responsibilities.

  • Pharmaceutical or Contract Manufacturing industry experienced.

  • Familiarity with Good Manufacturing Practices and experience with budgeting and forecasting.

  • Excellent communication and presentation skills.

  • Ability to thrive in a fast paced matrix environment
