Kaiser Permanente Supervisor, Operations - HPSA Consumer Experience in Renton, Washington

Accountable for managing a high volume team with responsiblity for claims processing, customer service, or membership and billing, internal & exteral referral requests and post-service requests. This work will focus on 1-2 products within the Kaiser Foundation Health Plan of Washington portfolio of products. Accountable for management of staff, performance and service levels. Lead, execute and monitor multiple and varied projects and operational policies that lead to continuous improvement, ongoing efficiencies and excellent service to Kaiser Foundation Health Plan of Washington's internal and external constituents. Responsible for driving continuous improvement to ensure performance levels are consistently achieved and customer experience is optimized. Responsible for managing and applying Lean practices across the value stream to continually improve processes and outcomes. Maintain expert knowledge of industry trends and best practices in alignment with Kaiser Foundation Health Plan of Washington's affordability goals.

Essential Responsibilities:

Responsible for driving continuous improvement to ensure performance levels are consistently achieved and customer experience is optimized. Responsible for managing and applying Lean practices across the value stream to continually improve processes and outcomes.

Lead, execute and monitor multiple and varied projects and operational policies that lead to continuous improvement, ongoing efficiencies and excellent service to Kaiser Foundation Health Plan of Washington's internal and external constituents.

Basic Qualifications:

Experience

Minimum three (3) years of experience in one or a combination of the following: claims processing, customer service, call center technology, membership, billing or multi-functional operational environment

Education

Bachelor's degree OR a minimum four (4) years of experience in a directly related field.

High School Diploma OR General Education Development (GED) is required.

License, Certification, Registration

Preferred Qualifications:

Five (5) years of experience in one or a combination of the following: claims processing, customer service, call center technology, membership, billing or multi-functional operational environment

Lean certification by date of hire.

Ability to establish goals, lead and motivate individuals and teams to achieve stated goals, and measure results.

Organize and lead improvement opportunities with implementation and measurement plans.

Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
