Accountable for providing subject matter expertise, researching and troubleshooting complex technical and operational issues. Develop and lead detailed and complex training programs for highly regulated operational areas that integrate computer application skills with new and revised workflow, business requirements and technology. Consult with customers to assess training needs, make training recommendations and design, develop and implement training programs. Responsible for composition, formatting, and syntax of technical writing. Researches, analyzes, and composes technical documentation and hard copy and web-based documents using technical writing and composition concepts. Consult with internal stakeholders and subject matter experts on documentation creation and maintenance. Assists with auditing and plays a lead role in working with staff on executing process updates as necessary.

Essential Responsibilities:

Accountable for providing subject matter expertise, researching and trouble shooting highly regulated, complex technical and operational issues. Identifies areas for improvement through audits/analysis. Helps develop and implement procedural or process changes and plays a lead role on working with staff on executing changes.

Ensure documentation projects stay on the critical path and are delivered in a timely manner. Monitor and revise technical documentation as business/system requirements evolve. Adding, deleting, and changing documents in the appropriate system to support the business need. Lead collaboration efforts in the design, development, and implementation of documents for new processes and benefits. This may include collaboration with external audiences for brochures, summaries of benefits and coverage and other duties as assigned.

Consult with stakeholders to identify training needs and ensure business requirements are met by recommended training solutions. Analyze and integrate user & application system requirements to create successful Health Plan Administration training programs. Partner with project teams and communicate training goals and requirements to ensure successful program implementation. Interact effectively with multiple project teams and Stakeholders by communicating training plans, outcome requirements and training status. Determine knowledge and/or skill enhancement needed by students during training plan development or during training sessions.

Deliver classroom training using identified objectives and strategies from the training plan and required training cour materials. Assess student performance and provide timely feedback to improve classroom outcomes. Responsible for composition, formatting, and syntax of technical writing. Researches, analyzes, and composes technical documentation, hard copy and web-based, using technical writing and composition concepts and grammatical rules. Consults/collaborates with internal stakeholders and subject matter experts to assess documentation needs, make documentation recommendations, and implement accurate, well-composed and consistently formatted web-based and hard copy documents. Independently coordinates documentation projects from request to completion including performing usability testing as necessary. Basic Qualifications:

Experience

Minimum three (3) years of training in a corporate setting or demonstrated ability to develop and design and deliver training through multiple mediums.

Education

Adult training and or curriculum design, technical writing or equivalent experience.

License, Certification, Registration

Additional Requirements:

Technical writing skills, policy or compliance experience.

Able to work independently & collaboratively; detail oriented; and excellent written & verbal communication, problem definition, problem solving and PC skills including MS Word, Excel & Oulook required.

Preferred Qualifications:

Bachelor's degree in adult education, learning and development or related field.

Knowledge of active/interactive training methods for adults and evidence based learning.

Knowledge of medical terminology preferred.
