We are looking for an experienced communications professional to join our Communications team as Program Manager, Learning & Enablement. In this global role, you will develop, implement, and manage global education and enablement strategies that addresses the needs of IBM's Global Markets ecosystem (encompassing internal employees, customers, and partners).
Applying your deep communications experience, knowledge of the discipline and program management skills, you are leading efforts in supporting the constantly evolving needs of our business. On a global scale you will also support our communication teams around the world with education, professional development, and tools to help tell the IBM story to myriad audiences.
If you have exceptional communication skills and proven experience leading learning & enablement programs within the high-tech space, we'd like to meet you.
Working within a core team to build, deliver and manage an online learning academy with a curriculum of digital learning modules on topics ranging from visual storytelling to change management.
Partner closely with internal and outside subject matter experts to develop in-person education courses and experiences.
Assist global communications teams with materials, support and new tools to execute with speed and consistency on a local level with their stakeholders.
Support in-country employee events, industry conferences, and corporate initiatives. Craft executive and internal communications as needed (e.g. client success stories, blogs, videos, town halls, webcasts).
Location: Armonk, NY or New York City (Astor Place). Please note we are not able to offer relocation assistance.
This role requires the ability to work in the U.S. without current or future need for IBM sponsorship.
Required Technical and Professional Expertise
10+ years of relevant professional experience, including corporate communications and/or training management.
Excellent writing and editing skills, including digital publishing, video, webcast production and community engagement.
Hands-on experience developing and running global projects.
Demonstrated expertise in deploying education curriculum, tools and toolkits.
Successfully deploying communication management frameworks to enable teams to work effectively.
Detailed and highly organized.
Preferred Tech and Prof Experience
- Internal, external, and social business communications experience.
