The Sterling EDI Architect is responsible for data transformation, data security and data delivery processes. The primary application is IBM Sterling B2B Integrator, using Extensible Markup Language (XML) and XML Path Language (XPath), Business Process Modeling Language (BPML), graphic process modeling, and custom data transformation languages (java based). Some Java, Linux, and other development included. Additionally the Architect will define, document and design solutions for migrations; drive asset based solutions and deliveries; implement of use cases across protocols and file directions; bring their deep product knowledge to drive installation and performance tuning; create project roadmaps; estimate and determine resource requirements and define delivery models; create proposals and participate in oral presentations with all levels of the client organization.

Required Technical and Professional Expertise

  • Bachelor's Degree

  • At least 5 years of experience defining architecture and design for integration projects

  • At least 5 years of experience in Sterling File Gateway, Sterling B2B Integrator, IBM Control Center, Sterling Secure Proxy, Connect:Direct, IBM Transformation Extender

  • At least 7 years of experience in Electronic Data Interchange (EDI)

  • At least 3 years of experience solutioning migration projects with clients on-site

  • At least 3 years of experience writing and oral delivery of proposals, estimating work and interacting with middle and upper-level management

  • At least 3 years of experience solutioning, selling, and delivering complex engagements

Preferred Tech and Prof Experience

  • Master's Degree

  • At least 7 years of experience defining architecture and design for integration projects

  • At least 6 years of experience in Sterling File Gateway, Sterling B2B Integrator, IBM Control Center, Sterling Secure Proxy, Connect:Direct, IBM Transformation Extender

  • At least 5 years of experience solutioning migration projects with clients on-site

  • At least 4 years of experience writing and oral delivery of proposals, estimating work and interacting with middle and upper-level management

  • At least 4 years of experience solutioning, selling, and delivering complex engagements
