Position Description

We are building a next generation Solution Engineering organization with innovation centers (known as Cloud Solution Hubs) in the United States, located in across four major cities in the US. As the Manager of the Cloud Success Specialist team , you will have responsibility for managing a team of Cloud Success Specialists, located inside Cloud Solution Hub. The team goal is to drive maximum adoption of Oracle solution and identify/drive product expansion via high value relationship with the clients. You should have strong customer skills, as well as technical expertise/knowledge in Cloud technologies. The Client Success Manager will be expected a strong leader able to build and mentor individual contributors, as well as driving innovation in technology and processes in this rapidly evolving industry. You are expected to be a constant challenger of the status quo, demonstrating the innovation possibilities and value of Oracle’s cloud offering for our customers. You will be measured on key metrics around customer success, revenue retention, cloud utilization and talent development.

Preferred Requirements


  • 3 years’ experience as a leader of presales or customer-facing team of software engineers and/or developers


  • 3 years’ experience working to engineer and develop application on an Application Development platform like Salesforce, Amazon Web Services or Azure.


  • Understand DevOps and software development lifecycles


  • Can manage successful delivery of a portfolio of customer engagements


  • Know how to maintain a culture of team collaboration and knowledge-sharing


  • Strong mentor for top and rising talent in the team


  • Strong client-facing and project management skills

Detailed Description and Job Requirements

Drive maximum adoption of Oracle solution and identify/drive product expansion opportunities via high value relationship with the client.

Leads a team of Client Success Managers and manage to performance goals. Responsible for achieving quarterly targets in terms of renewal rates to maximize revenue and minimize cancellations. Build team, improve internal processes and systems to achieve operational performance that meets or exceeds goals. Establish and measure group goals and team performance against specific target objectives. Conduct regular training and mentor Client Success Managers. Interview and make hiring decisions for qualified candidates. Conduct performance reviews, provide career development coaching and take necessary corrective action for poor performers. Provide regular performance metrics to senior management.

Leads a specialized area which may have diverse functional elements. Frequently interacts with supervisors and/or functional peer group managers. May interact with senior management. Prefer 10 years of professional experience with at least 2 years people management experience. Demonstrated experience in package systems implementation (CRM, ERP, Consulting experiences) or client facing relationship experience. Understanding of various technical architectures and operating systems. Experience managing high level client relationships and escalations. Industry experience is desired.
