Minimum requirement:

US Citizen (Required); no Visa Sponsorship is available for this position.

Active Top Secret clearance with Full Scope Polygraph (Required).

Hyperion Planning professionals design, implement and deploy Hyperion solutions to achieve defined business goals. They maintain skills in application design and configuration, technical architecture, integration, testing, conversion and deployment.

Hyperion Development professionals develop and architect Hyperion application solutions. They maintain current skills in Hyperion technical infrastructure and data architecture/integration.

Basic Qualifications include ability to:

  • Support and troubleshoot all Hyperion applications and tools within the Hyperion Suite (e.g. Hyperion Planning, Hyperion Smart View, Essbase, Essbase Studio)

  • Gather and analyze client functional and technical requirements

  • Conduct Fit-gap analysis, identify and communicate recommendations to the client

  • Guide, coach team, and fully participate in all phases of an application implementation including requirements planning, functional and technical design, system design and development, testing and deployment activities

  • Formulate test plans and participate in testing and acceptance process using industry standard methodology

  • Provide user training to new users and retraining to existing users on new functionalities

  • Develop proposals / recommendations of enhancement which requires great understanding of the client business processes

  • Observe defined methodology and standards

  • Professional Skill Requirements:

  • Working experience of 3 or more years in Hyperion including configuration/development

  • Products Include (not limited to): Hyperion Planning, Hyperion Smart View, Essbase, Essbase Studio, etc.

  • Understanding of PeopleSoft, E-Business Suite, Workday, SAP, and Microsoft Dynamics

  • Previous working experience in the IT field is required

  • Previous working experience with Public Sector will be considered a strong plus

  • Eagerness to contribute in a team-oriented environment

  • Ability to work creatively and analytically in a problem-solving environment

  • Good communication (written and oral) and interpersonal skills

  • Experience with client-facing positions is an advantage

An experienced consulting professional who has a broad understanding of solutions, industry best practices, multiple business processes or technology designs within a product/technology family. Operates independently to provide quality work products to an engagement. Performs varied and complex duties and tasks that need independent judgment, in order to implement Oracle products and technology to meet customer needs. Applies Oracle methodology, company procedures, and leading practices.

May act as the team lead on projects, providing coaching, guidance and feedback to develop skills of team members. Effectively consults with management of customer organizations. Participates in business development activities. Develops and leads detailed solutions for moderately complex projects.

6-8 years of experience relevant to this position including 3-4 years consulting experience preferred. Undergraduate degree or equivalent experience preferred. Product or technical expertise relevant to practice focus. Ability to communicate effectively. Ability to build rapport with team members and clients. Ability to travel as needed.

As a recognized authority and leading contributor within their practice, this senior-level consulting position provides consistent high quality and innovative solution leadership to a project team. Leads the solution design and implementation aspects of engagement(s) ensuring high quality, integrated software solutions within constraints of time and budget.

Analyzes business needs to help ensure Oracle solution meets the customer’s objectives by combining industry best practices, product knowledge, and business acumen. Exercises judgment and business acumen in selecting methods and techniques to deliver functional and technical solutions on non-routine and very complex aspects of applications and technology installations. Provides direction and mentoring to project teams, and effectively influences customer leadership on key decisions. Supports the business development efforts by pursuing new opportunities and extensions. Collaborates with the consulting sales team by providing domain expertise. Resolves complex customer issues by recommending and implementing solutions. Demonstrates expertise in multiple business processes across two or more product families or ability to architect and design technology solutions encompassing multiple products and make decisions based on impact across the stack.

8-10 years of experience relevant to this position including 4 years of consulting experience. Prior team leadership or management experience preferred. Undergraduate degree or equivalent experience preferred. Product or technical expertise relevant to practice focus. Ability to communicate effectively. Ability to build rapport with team members and clients. Strong influencing and negotiation skills. Ability to travel as needed.
