What You’ll Get to Do:
As a Cyber System Engineer will support O&M activities for servers hosting Cyber tools and applications as well as leading efforts to identify system security vulnerabilities. Candidate is expected to support the deployment and define hardware specifications for high availability Cyber tools/systems and use these tools to enhance security compliance baselines to support enterprise level cyber security requirements. Able to work independently or leading teams to perform technical planning, system integration, verification and validation, risk assessments, and supportability and effectiveness analyses for computer security products and systems.

Understand and identify new vulnerabilities and attack vectors to actively hunt for threats across multiple networks.
Deployment, administration support, and maintenance of servers in a large-scale enterprise environment.
Perform technical planning, system integration, verification and validation as well as risk assessments for computer security products and systems.
Collaborate with clients regarding the nature of the system vulnerabilities and recommended remediation steps.
Ability to use various COTS and custom platforms to gather security statistic to proactively scan the enterprise for malware.
Ensure the logical and systematic conversion of customer or product requirements into total systems solutions that acknowledge technical, schedule, and cost constraints.
Test and monitor computer systems, including coordinating the installation of computer programs and systems.
Analyze and study complex system requirements.
Apply the Concept of Operations (CONOPs) set of disciplines for the planning, analysis, design, construction and operation of information systems across a major sector of the organization.
Develop analytical and computational techniques and methodology for problem solutions.
Prepare required documentation, including both program-level and user-level documentation.
Assist in establishing standards for information security systems procedures.
Reviewing and analyzing security audits and computer logs to improve endpoint security measures.
You’ll Bring These Qualifications:
Demonstrated experience working with business and technical personnel to deliver a robust, scalable architecture for an IT system that meets the business goals of an IT system.
Demonstrated experience performing requirements analysis to create non-user requirements based on user requirements and then creating system architectures to meet those requirements.
Demonstrated experience reviewing and assessing impact of proposed scope changes to future architectures.
Windows Server 2012 and 2016 System Admin O&M.
Reviewing Security and Sysmon Computer Logs for detecting anomalies and advise on mitigation strategies.
Proficient with Microsoft Office suite (Outlook, Word, Excel, PowerPoint).
Education & Experience Requirements:
Candidate must have one of the following:
12 Years of job related experience and High School/GED diploma
10 Years of job related experience and Associate degree
8 Years of job related experience and Bachelor’s degree
6 Years of job related experience and Master’s degree
4 Years of job related experience and Doctorate
These Qualifications Would be Nice to Have:
Candidates with CISSP certification is strongly desirable.
Familiarity with cyber security and computer network defense topics
Experience with the operations and on-going responsibilities of a Security Operations Center (SOC)
Demonstrated on-the-job experience with building/informing programs for enterprise security continuous monitoring and cyber security incident response for an IT enterprise
Demonstrated on-the-job experience with collaboration and outreach across the customers’ environment.
Experience working with cyber security tools, conducting security scans, and developing mitigation solutions
Directing and leading other senior level Cyber security engineers
Demonstrated experience designing, configuring, and maintaining the Information Technology Infrastructure associated with an IT system hosted in the AWS environment.
One or more program languages and ability to build/automate efficient and effective scripts (VBScripts, PowerShell, WMI, C#, Java, SQL. Python, C++, XML).
