CACI International Data Manager TS/SCI w/Poly in Reston, Virginia
What You’ll Get to Do:
You will provide support on a team that provides a full spectrum of important IT-focused, enterprise-wide lifecycle support, including dev ops, applied technology investigations, operations and maintenance, and infrastructure lifecycle support services across the customer’s enterprise.
More About the Role:
Manage the effective implementation of backup and restore procedures and working practices
Communicate changes and enhancements to backup and restore standards, procedures, and technology
Review backup and restore reports daily and monitor backup and restore information, standards, procedures, measurements, tools, and technology
Determine what reports are produced and the reporting schedule
Work closely with Service Level Management to ensure data management services remain capable of meeting ongoing and future requirements
Estimate overall storage resource and budget requirements for Asset Management as input to the IT plan in conjunction with other process owners
Collate and analyze process measurements associated with data management and recommends improvement activities based on service deviation
You’ll Bring These Qualifications:
Bachelor’s degree in a related field, from an accredited institution and a minimum of 7 years of relevant experience
TS/SCI clearance with poly
Demonstrated experience manipulating data
Demonstrated experience aggregating results and/or compiling information for reporting
Demonstrated experience performing data backup and restore functions for a large enterprise
Knowledge of backup/archival software (e.g. Acronis Recovery Expert, VERITAS NetBackup)
These Qualifications Would be Nice to Have:
- Experience with Python is desired
