CACI International Exchange Systems Administrator in Reston, Virginia

Job Description

Position Description:

Primary duties include providing Lotus Notes administration, Windows systems and server administration of development and test enterprise servers.

Daily Activities:

  • Run morning script on systems

  • Select the number of days to go back to create TXT files to be used to compare new mailboxes to accounts in all systems.

  • Send these files to WMA mailbox.

  • Use files in step 2 to search WMA Active Directory.

  • Send files created to the two alternate systems.

  • Use files to update AutomateServerSideRule.ps1 for CSV file of accounts in all the systems. Update importCA14_CA15.ps1 with TXT file of accounts “Not located in WMA”.

  • Run both PS1 files in steps 5 and 6.

  • Check for assigned tickets and search for related tickets to be assigned. Take ownership and work all the tickets.

  • Reply to any questions/concerns from users who sent emails.

  • Check alternate systems for updates and/or compliance issues.

  • Run reports on the alternate systems to create CSV file of all mailboxes.

  • Check report to update individual mailboxes as needed to include required entries in CustomAttribute9, 14, 15, etc.

  • Work tickets directed towards Exchange as time permits.

  • Update/create work instructions.

  • Monitor the User Creation Tool on the alternate systems for errors. Update Service account passwords every 6 months.

  • Work with the developer of User Creation Tool on modifications.

  • Submit activities for manual monthly reboots of responsible Exchange servers and DPM servers.

  • Monitor the daily backup jobs for all Exchange servers in all systems and fix issues as needed.

You will bring to the team the following:

  • Exchange 2013 Server Administration

  • PowerShell creation

  • Ability to modify scripts as needed

These skills would be nice to have:

  • Lotus Notes Administration

  • Data Protection Manager

  • Backup and Restore Exchange Databases

Education & Experience Required:

  • 12 Years of job related experience and High School/GED diploma

  • 10 Years of job related experience and Associate degree

  • 8 Years of job related experience and Bachelor’s degree

  • 6 Years of job related experience and Master’s degree

  • 4 Years of job related experience and Doctorate

Typical Hours:

  • 8-10 hour shiftTeam must cover 6am to 6pm

  • May be after hours requirements
