CACI International IT/O&M Lab Manager/Engineer in Reston, Virginia
What You’ll Get to Do:
AS an IT/O&M Lab Manager / Engineer you will provide cutting edge services within the Intelligence Community. Candidate will provide end-to-end system lifecycle support for mission systems. Must have an extensive background in servers and laptops, system engineering, AWS, Windows Operating System, and Linux Operating System. Duties include maintaining a physical and AWS lab environments in addition to laptops, ensure patch and maintenance compliance, maintain inventory of hardware, keep A&A documentation current and in compliance, and maintain lab access. Performs technical planning, system integration, verification and validation, risk assessment, and supportability and effectiveness analyses for the customer’s lab environment. Ensures designs are compatible with the architecture and allocates requirements to segments. Analyzes user requirements, procedures, and problems to automate or improve existing systems and review computer system capabilities, workflow, and scheduling limitations. May analyze or recommend commercially available solutions. Will assist with developing and engineering AWS cloud solutions for the existing environment and lead / participate in the migration(s).
You’ll Bring These Qualifications:
10 years of experience as a systems engineer with Systems Administrator Experience
Demonstrated experience as a Lab Manager
AWS Experience creating missions and associated instances
Possess technical problem solving and trouble shooting skills
Experience with server and laptop patching and maintenance for security compliance
Knowledgeable with Windows and Linux operating systems and Shell Scripting
Ability to facilitate technical discussions and lead conversations in an open forum
Demonstrated experience in preparing and presenting PowerPoint presentations
Demonstrated experience in creating technical documentation (requirements, designs, etc.) for complex systems
Good time management
Good verbal and written communications skills
Demonstrated ability to work individually and within groups
These Qualifications Would be Nice to Have:
Knowledgeable with ICD-503 and ability to maintain System Security Plans and ConOps
Familiar with customer’s inventory process
Familiar with customers security compliance process and use of eXacta
Education and Experience Requirements:
Candidate must have one of the following:
12 Years of job related experience and High School/GED diploma
10 Years of job related experience and Associate degree
8 Years of job related experience and Bachelor’s degree
6 Years of job related experience and Master’s degree
4 Years of job related experience and Doctorate
Work Hours: Core Hours 9:30 - 2:30
