Job Description


  • Able to develop code within a reasonable amount of time to complete the assigned project(s) in the specified timeframe according to departmental standards and guidelines.

  • Writes, modifies, and debugs software

  • Identifies and reports problems in new and existing software; recreates reported software problems to facilitate solutions; this includes validating the fix for the software problem.

  • Resolves customer complaints with software and responds to suggestions for software modifications or enhancements.

  • Assists in the preparation of internal software design documentation.

  • Develops the critical components of the solution, including but not limited to, security, rules infrastructure, custom adapter implementation, and application interfaces.

  • Employs best practices for design, development, unit testing and test plan development.

  • Supports completed software throughout the Software Development Life Cycle and in production.

  • Able to work independently is a must.


  • Proficient Software Development skills in Java, Python, and/or Asterisks

  • Experience: Ten years of programming/engineering with Bachelors or equivalent work experience

  • Education: Engineering degree (or fifteen years programming/engineering experience with technical certification)


A current DoD Top Secret/SCI with a CI Polygraph security clearance is required


• Must be proficient in multiple programming languages; at a minimum Java, Python, and C++, to provide internally conceptualized and created communications equipment

• Be able to travel CONUS and OCONUS
