Product Manager (Field Enablement)

Preferred Qualifications

We are looking for a seasoned product strategy training and delivery expert to drive technical field enablement efforts focused on Oracle’s massive sales force. Your key accountabilities will be as follows:

  1. Assist in defining and executing a worldwide technical training deployment strategy.

  2. Interface with global teams to drive and track training and enablement for technical sellers.

  3. Execute the product roadmap for the development and deployment of enablement resources for internal field customers to ensure product understanding and use.

  4. Organize, develop, and maintain technical training content, including hands-on lab guides, presentations, whitepapers, and frequently asked questions.

  5. Identify, plan, and execute large-scale technical training events.

  6. Collaborate with Product Management, R&D, and the Solutions teams to leverage on customer product feedback.

  7. Collaborates with marketing to determine the availability of customer learning resources and opportunities such as webinars or meet-ups.

  8. Provide real time feedback on training content and modifications to continuously improve quality.

  9. Contribute to the ongoing development of enablement products road maps for internal field consumers

  10. Ensures that documentation, training curriculum, and forums all share the same voice and quality and that it covers field technical learning needs at all stages from implementation to product upgrades.

To deliver on your accountabilities – we are looking for following skills / qualifications:

  1. 10 years of experience in training delivery or product enablement roles in an enterprise environment.

  2. Ability to create detailed product training enablement plans to keep up with the high velocity of features being delivered on the platform.

  3. Deep understanding of cloud competitive landscape; customer priorities and challenges.

  4. Experience partnering and engaging with engineering, product, sales, marketing and business development teams

  5. Strong technical acumen, communication, and interpersonal skills.

  6. 5 years’ experience with customer enablement and content development or technical documentation.

  7. Expertise with innovative development technologies, learning tools, and delivery methods.

  8. Experienced in creating and delivering product documentation and customer education collateral including videos, webinars, written collateral, and virtual training.

  9. Strong ability to take highly technical product information and turn it into comprehensive content.

  10. Strong ability to collaborate and information share across teams with the result of creating effective customer enablement and engagement material.

  11. Bachelor degree and MBA preferred.

Detailed Description and Job Requirements

Lead a team that acts as the central resource and driving force for the design, process, manufacturing, test, quality and marketing of product(s) as they move from conception to distribution. Organize interdepartmental activities ensuring completion of the project/product on schedule and within budget.

As a member of the product development division, you will specify, design and implement major changes to existing software architecture. Define project needs. Build and execute unit tests and unit test plans. Review integration and regression plans created by QA. Communicate with QA and porting engineering to ensure consistency, testability and portability across products in general.

Provide leadership and expertise in the development of new products/services/processes, frequently operating at the leading edge of technology. Recommends and justifies major changes to existing products/services/processes. BS or MS degree or equivalent experience relevant to functional area. 8 or more years of software engineering or related experience.
