The IDAM Database Consultant role is responsible for modeling complex customer problems, discovering customer insights and identifying opportunities for Oracle's many information protection offerings, principally identify and access control tools as well as insider threat protection offerings. Prior experience with IDM and DB 12C or newer (required), preferably to include strong knowledge of IDAM industry standards, 8 years of experience in identity and access management, and direct knowledge of IC requirements. In addition to DBA development analytic skills, this role is also proficient at integrating and preparing large, varied datasets, designing specialized database and computing environments, and communicating results.
This role works closely with clients, data stakeholders, project/ program managers, and other IT teams to turn data into critical information and knowledge to make sound intelligence assessments. This team member needs to be a creative, critical thinker. The individual will be expected to propose innovative ways to look at problems by using Oracle data/IDAM products and designing approaches to speed the process of obtaining ATO. Lifecycle product support may involve validation of findings using experimental and iterative approaches. Also, as a consultant, this role will be required to present findings to clients by exposing assumptions, validation work, intelligence relevance and accuracy, and ROI/ business case formulation that can be easily understood.Requirements
-Strong knowledge of IDM Industry Standards and 8 years of experience in identity management and security space - preferred direct experience in IC security space and ATO
-IDM centric, with strong knowledge in LDAP, Identity Federation, Identity Manager and Access Manager.
-Excellent knowledge of Oracle Database Administration and be able to support various DB admin activities ranging from provisioning, LCM, upgrades, performance tuning, Data guard, RMAN Backup and recovery etc.
-Should have worked on RAC/ ASM/ Clusterware and be skillful enough to administer a multi-node RAC DB in all respects.
-Experience working with Weblogic 12c
-scripting experience in shell/ perl/ python etc and worked on developing at least 2 automation tools
-Knowledge of Linux Operating system and experience with basic system administration (Experience with SE Linux is a bonus.)
-Experience with SAML 2.0 and oAuth
-Basic Knowledge of networking i.e. DNS records, LoadBalancers, subnets etc
-Proven ability to meet established service levels, availability, performance, data privacy, and security guidelines is necessary
-Concepts of cryptography and how SSL works
-Understanding certificates and certificate chains needed for secure communications
-Knowledge of Java programming is a huge plus
-Exposure to any 2 flavors of identity management i.e. ADFS/ Okta/ Siteminder etc
-Implement, maintain and review new and existing IDM environments.
-Candidate will be working with Customer Directory as the primary Identity Store
-Manage the Oracle databases environments hosted on various platforms i.e. Stand alone RAC, EDCS, DBCS etc. for various identity management deployments across OPC.
-Perform DB upgrades, LCM operations, cluster operations, ASM operations, Data guard setup/ switchover/ failover, implementing and monitoring RMAN backups etc for Cloud IDM/ IDCS Databases.
-Administering of IDM environments supporting Oracle Cloud Services and disconnected managed services at customer
-To work on deploying federation SAML b/w IDCS/ OIF/ ADFS/ Okta/ Siteminder etc
-Work on "Identity Domain Cloud Service" deployment and life cycle management
-Automate the existing manual processes via new or existing scripting tools
-Candidates will work closely Oracle IDM development in resolving bugs and implementing new functionality. Candidate will be required to work independently as well as part of small and larger team.
-Work on resolving service requests by customers on various cloud operational requirements
-Candidate will be closely involved in supporting the corporate Cloud offering's IDM environment.
-Weekend work is expected and candidate must be willing to work in weekend shifts.

Prepare flowcharting, perform coding, and test/debug programs. Develop conversion and system implementation plans. Recommend changes to development, maintenance, and system standards.

BS or equivalent experience in programming on enterprise or department servers or systems.
