CACI International Systems Administrator (Day Shift) in Reston, Virginia
What You’ll Get to Do:
We are looking for a Systems Administrator to support the implementation of baseline changes and respond to change requests. As a Systems Administrator, you will perform technical evaluations, analysis, and troubleshooting for all supported servers.
Your responsibilities will include the following:
Building servers by providing technical configuration, setup, installation services, hardware and coordination of application projects
Operating and maintaining servers
Consulting with support teams, help desks, customers, and other technical staff in the resolution of problems
Coordinating and performing operation and/or maintenance activities for networks and servers
Identifies recurring problems and recommending steps to reduce the severity or frequency of problems
Providing 24x7 monitoring support to the client, server, and network operations
Taking appropriate action to maintain systems availability
Reviewing systems anomalies, performing initial troubleshooting, and generating and routing SRS tickets to the appropriate service providers for timely work off
Maintaining current and accurate logs
Accurately documenting all systems outages and pertinent follow-up information, as required
Remaining current with standard operating procedures, systems manuals, and control logs
Maintaining accuracy of all systems analysts task.
Continuing to develop state of the art knowledge and skills, as required for the evolving technical environment
May create and document new methods supporting network and systems operations and implementing changes to procedures
You’ll Bring These Qualifications:
Remedy – SRS
Lotus Notes databases and e-mail
Excellent interpersonal skills
Ability to work closely with CSM management, client, server, network professionals, and the customer’s community
Candidate must have one of the following:
6 Years of job related experience and a High School/GED diploma
4 Years of job related experience and Associate’s degree
2-3 Years of job related experience and Bachelor’s degree
1 Year of job related experience and Master’s degree
Work Hours: Rotating Day Shift; 6:30AM – 6:00PM
