CACI International Systems Architect in Reston, Virginia

Job Description

You will be Responsible for the architecture definition of the overall IT enterprise, to include the breakdown of the system into components, the component interactions and interfaces (including with the environment, especially the user), and the technologies and resources to be used in the design.

You will possess substantial knowledge of hardware, software, and similar systems and be familiar with the users' domain of experience.

  • Ability to self-learn, act on own initiative and work in a dynamic environment

  • Strong customer service skills

  • Ability to communicate and collaborate with Senior government officials

You will have the following:

Specific engineering experience in 3 or more of the following technology areas:

  • Preparing architecture views in accordance with industry standards using standard tools (e.g. DODAF, System Architect)

  • Server Operating Systems (e.g. Windows 2008 and higher and/or Linux 6 and higher)

  • Virtualization technologies (e.g. VMware and HyperV)

  • Data Architectures and products (e.g. MySql, Tanium)

  • Security Architectures and products (e.g. McAfee)

  • Storage architectures and technologies (e.g. NetApp)

  • Traditional Client Server and AWS architectures

  • Virtual Desktop Infrastructure (VDI and Citrix)

  • IT Monitoring Tools (e.g. SEIM, Splunk, ServiceNow)

You will have one of the following:

  • 10 Years of job related experience and High School/GED diploma

  • 8 Years of job related experience and Associate degree

  • 4-7 Years of job related experience and Bachelor’s degree

  • 3 Years of job related experience and Master’s degree

  • 2 Years of job related experience and Doctorate

The following skills are nice to have:

  • AWS Certification

  • Microsoft Server, Engineering or Developer certifications

  • Splunk Certifications
