We are searching for a skilledClinical Coordinatorfor our Ambulatory Surgery Center.
SPECIFIC ELEMENTS AND ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS*
*1 Oversees the consistent management of daily operations of the O.R. unit, and across shifts, in meeting the mission of the company, hospital and department, as well as supporting an environment of care to meet that mission and to comply with all regulatory requirements.
*2 Oversees the consistent management of all variable costs of the O.R. unit to meet budgetary targets.
*3 Oversees quality improvement work for the O.R. unit, and across shifts, to improve unit/departmental processes, and to meet goals.
*4 Oversees all aspects of staffing, acting in accordance with Human Resource policies and within budgetary limits, in targeted selection, in retention activities, and in providing feedback.
EXPERIENCE Required - Two years experience as an RN in a leadership role in a hospital-based O.R., with demonstrated proficiency in leadership behaviors and management skills. Preferred - Five or more years experience as an RN in leadership role in a hospital-based O.R., with demonstrated proficiency in leadership behaviors and management skills.
EDUCATION Required - Graduate of an accredited school of nursing with a current license as a RN in the State of Virginia. Preferred - Educational programs in nursing management. Currently enrolled in a program of study obtaining a B.S.N. or B.S .- Business Administration.
