What you’ll be doing...

You will be leading our wireless strategic initiatives in the areas of construction services for the deployment of small cells, and leading large initiatives across geographies with various network organizations.

  • Developing Right of Way strategies to advance efficient construction models.

  • Performing construction services contract modeling.

  • Designing, specifying, and documenting construction standards.

  • Providing project leadership across the territory teams working closely with other network departments and sourcing to implement strategic initiatives.

  • Performing analysis of standards and practices to drive efficiency.

  • Effectively managing vendors and consultants on projects to drive efficient cost models.

What we’re looking for...

You’ll need to have:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Engineering or four or more years of work experience.

  • Four or more years of relevant work experience.

  • Experience in the telecommunications industry.

Even better if you have:

  • A degree.

  • Five or more years of experience in the telecommunications industry.

  • Three or more years of Right of Way engineering and construction experience with a clear understanding of the permitting and construction process to execute pole placement in a public and private right of way.

  • Experience with Joint Use construction contracts.

  • Knowledge and understanding of the NESC and OSHA.

  • Management skills including: implementation, project management, and change management.

  • Excellent analytic, interpersonal, and communication skills.

  • Decision making skills, including the ability to make appropriate use of available information and data, and make sound decisions independently.

  • Ability to take responsibility for specific projects or definable portions of larger projects or processes.

  • Ambition to drive new concepts across various organizations using industry knowledge, strategic planning and consensus building skills.

  • Ability to listen attentively, integrate large volumes of information from multiple sources, and effectively present to executive leadership.
