McKesson Medical-Surgical is hiring IT interns for a paid summer internship.
McKesson’s Undergraduate Intern Program provides you with an opportunity to experience the healthcare industry first-hand. By applying your education to a real-life working environment, you will receive a solid foundation of experience as a McKesson intern.
Through an assigned project based on key business initiatives, you'll receive hands-on experience, and you will be exposed to many aspects of the business and draw upon your varied skill set.
Further, by working in tandem with others, you will build a network of support to help you develop professionally. This is a hands-on opportunity to gain practical experience in a dynamic and growing industry!
UndergraduateIntern Program Details
Full-time workfor 10 weeks
Positions willreside in the Richmond, VA area
No companysponsored housing or relocation assistance available
Each intern isassigned a project-focused opportunity in McKesson Medical-Surgical, andworks directly with a Manager and Mentor.
The internshipprogram also provides networking, access to executives, structuredperformance & coaching, and fun, local activities!
The Internship Program starts on June 4th and ends August 10th.
The hours are from 8am to 5pm, Monday through Friday, in a business casual environment.
Must becurrently enrolled in a bachelor's degree program for the duration of the internshipto be eligible
3.0 minimum cumulative GPA
Must becurrently enrolled in a Bachelor degree program in computer science or information technology, or related to the internship opportunity and must be scheduled to graduate between December 2018 and May 2019.
Willingnessto learn, develop, and contribute in a fun, fast-paced environment.
Self-starter that brings both interpersonal skills and creative problem solvingskills
Strong communication skills with ability to interface with multiple departments
Must be able to perform computer-based work
