Parham Doctors’ Hospital is looking for a dynamic PRN Rehab Technician with experience in an inpatient-rehab setting. We see all types of patients in our hospital and pride ourselves on providing that “personal touch” to every single patient.

The Rehab Technician administers patient care and related activities, services and/or procedures to promote the physical and emotional health and personal comfort needs of assigned patients.

Position Responsibilities : 1. Assists with patient treatments.

  1. Cleans and maintains all equipment.

  2. Distributes Inpatient Rehab Therapy schedules.

  3. Assists in completion of Inpatient Rehab 3 hour report under direction of licensed therapist, per State practice Act.

  4. Completes Ancillary Charge Review.

  5. Assists Rehab nursing staff during patient meal times, as assigned. Patient Rights - The Rehabilitation Technician will work to support and protect the rights of each patient served, treat each patient with dignity and care, and maintain patient confidentiality/privacy.

    Patient Safety – The Rehabilitation Technician demonstrates commitment to patient safety initiatives including patient falls, medication safety, National Patient Safety Goals, critical value reporting, and administration of blood products.

    Qualifications :

    • High School Diploma/GED

    • Current BLS certification - REQUIRED to be considered for the position

    • Rehab Tech course, preferred

    • Working knowledge/proficient in use of Microsoft Office software including Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook The ideal candidate will be CNA, Care Partner, PT or OT aide. Must be available to work during the hours of 8am to 4pm, Monday through Friday, and rotating weekends as required.
