We are currently looking for an IT Landscape Manager who will be part of the P&T Services & Operations Management (PT SOM) organization in IT Services and Operations (ITSO). The purpose of PT SOM is to operate the Technical IT scope by delivering differentiating IT capabilities (products & services), thus supporting technology development, application and deployment as a major competitive advantage for Shell. The "Landscape" element emphasizes that infrastructure, applications and data management practices are managed in an integrated fashion to effectively support the business workflows.
What’s the role?
As an IT Landscape Manager, you will be accountable for the full spectrum of technologies delivered by PT SOM to Non-Operated Ventures (NOVs), considering NOV dynamics such as in-country regulations and business/country priorities. NOV consumption of Shell provisioned Technology is significant and at the core of delivering business value to NOV’s, whilst under continuous assessment of Shareholders and the venture directors. As such, this role is critical in ensuring that IT services delivered to NOV’s are secure and reliable and that the components of these services remain transparent and clear with focus on value outcomes.
You will be acting as part of the wider NOV IT natural team, the role will address operational, tactical (short term) and strategic IT requirement of the NOV’s and ensure that NOV’s requirements are addressed whilst aligning with Shell’s core IT standards and strategies for differentiating technologies.
In essence, this role represents PT SOM in all interactions with NOVs at multiple level’s covering IT, Business and the in-country Asset Management teams.
Your key accountabilities for this role include:
Build and maintain relationships with NOV IT Managers and the wider business and IT natural teams and keep alignment to ‘speak with one voice’
Work closely with Asset Support management team to clarify PT SOM technology delivery scope and to define and apply ways of working going forward
Formulate the ‘value story’ for technologies in use by NOVs and interface with PTX to keep these up to date and synchronized. Clarify PTX and PT SOM roles for external partners
Own, develop and improve the NOV technology offering catalogue and associated dashboard to address questions raised by NOVs and provide feedback to internal stakeholders on specific applications or services
Liaise with portfolio managers on application roadmaps and with SOM teams on infrastructure roadmaps in order to communicate timely on potential changes in the applications or infrastructure portfolios
Together with internal stakeholders, determine pricing for (additional) technologies for NOVs. Issue communications for NOVs for the annual CBCM process and outcome
Keep track of cost and recovery for each NOV and promote a commercial mindset with internal stakeholders
Take accountability for operational performance for NOV landscapes aligned with (NOV) SLAs. This includes resolution of structural issues and technical improvements
Interact regularly with each NOV on operations and support, involving other operations & support peers as necessary
Collaborate closely with your peers to anticipate changes and impact on NOV landscapes and reach out for support from technical specialists where necessary
Represent PT SOM in projects revolving around NOVs and their changing landscapes

What we need from you?

Broad understanding of IT and application support
Proven ability of leading, coaching and influencing without direct management control
Ability to work effectively in a virtual and global environment
Experienced at communicating key messages at different levels of the organization and for stakeholders from different communities, with different priorities and responsibilities
Good customer facing, interpersonal and communication skills
Strong analytical skills
ITIL, PMP, Prince2 certifications are good to have
